It does a nice job cutting but it wasn’t as long as I expected. It’s a bit on the heavy side especially when you reach overhead. The strap that comes with it is of no help. Maybe if a handle was added it would help distribute the weight.

The pole edge trimmer is getting the job done; however it is way too heavy for an average guy to lift overhead and use. I guess if you are young and super strong it would be fine. Disappointing.

Trimmer worked well but I found it to be a little difficult to use on taller hedges because of it’s weight, especially when the pole was extended full length. Takes a little more muscle than I thought it would. Also had some difficulty with the assembly.

I purchased this item to trim 15+ foot high cedar hedges. The trimmer seems to work fine after using it for a few hours. The pivoting head is very convenient and useful, and the trimmer seems to have adequate cutting power to trim larger diameter branches. It is a little heavy but that was expected given it’s size and length. I still require use of a ladder to cut the top of the hedges. I’m very happy so far and it seems to be well worth the investment as it was costing me $600 to have my hedges trimmed.

This Hedge trimmer is very heavy and hard to use. The provided strap does not help.

Trimmer works well. Deducted a “star” based on poor weight distribution. When extending the pole, the weight is not balanced. This results in arm fatigue.

This is is fantastic for trimming tall hedges. We were able to trim the top and sides of a tall 10 foot x 20 foot hedge in an afternoon. This thing is quite the workout though. Try to utilize the included neck strap as much as possible as your arms will get pretty tired quickly.
