A little heavy but very manageable for vertical surfaces and trimming a bit of the tops from the ground. My hedges are 6ft wide and 10ft high. Trimming the top from a ladder is a bit of work as it gets heavy when the head is fully extended but that’s to be expected. Still quicker than trying to use my old hand held B&D.

I found this trimmer to be of good quality. The unit is a little heavy but, when your motor is of a superior quality, it will add to the overall weight. The extension worked great and saved me hiring landscaper and kept me off the ladder for a but detailing the top of my tall bushes and orange tree.I also bought a SunJoe power washer over the summer. It proved of a good quality and workmanship. It was almost as powerful as a gas powered unit. Far better than I expected as well. Good quality. Good warranty and a fair price. Kudos to SunJoe!

I bought this to trim a very wide and approx 8-9’ high cedar hedge. Works great – just a little heavy for me after a while. The strap wouldn’t stay short enough to be much help, if it would have, it probably would have helped support the weight, especially when fully extended.

Very good for reaching high limbs on hedges and bushes, where a ladder won’t get close enough to reach. The ability to rotate the cutting head is wonderful, and in most cases, lessens the stress of holding the trimmer out an angle (it is a little heavy when it is extended).
