This pole hedge trimmer works very well. It has the height I need to trim my hedges. The only thing I think is missing is a handle on the pole to make it more comfortable to hold. For the price of this trimmer it is a very good product. It has the power to easily trim most bushes.

It works good, but mu main concern is that it is quite a bit heavier than previous hedge trimmers and is quite noticeable when you put it out to near full range of the pole and it becomes quite a load and I am not a weakling. It isn’t bad without the pole, works fine, but on the pole you can only do a little bit at a time. Does cut well.

I doubt there is a better tool for trimming high bushes without a ladder. The Sun Joe is sharp and makes trimming easy. That it can convert to a standard hedge trimmer is a plus.

OMG, this performed above my expectations. Cut 1/4-1/2 branches like butter. I will admit like it has been said in other reviews, it does get a bit heavy when extended but when you’re trying to cut 3 ft deep, on a ladder and at head level still, anything is heavy after a bit. This thing is awesome. I researched and kept coming back to this trimmer….
