Excellent so far! Just purchased it in late fall and tried it on two extremes -a 30 ft high Colorado spruce tree which I prune annually and a small compact Korean Boxwood hedge. It cut both without any effort. Motor is powerful and the large spacing between the teeth cut through the thick tree branches easily. It is very heavy to hold and handle if held at 90 degrees to body when fully extended.

Overall this product works exactly as designed. I spent some time determining the best ways to use it and found the range of extensions and the handheld tool all worked well. I did figure out that there are lots of ways to adjust that strap but it did take some experimentation. Because my hedge is 8 feet tall and 3 feet deep, I used a ladder (about 3 or 4 rungs up) for some of the work. A partial extension of the pole combined with an angled head allowed me to get to the back edge of that 40 foot long hedge. It took a little strength but only about half the time my old trimmer took and the look was much more professional. My shoulders did get a good workout. Without the pole I easily trimmed our dozen or so “meatball” bushes. My wife thought I did a great job. Why not 5 stars? I work both left and right handed and the tool does require a little hand contortion to engage the switch with my left hand.
