This trimmer is just what I needed! I am a 68 yr old woman who became suddenly disabled 3 yrs ago when I broke my neck – followed by a collapsed spine and 10 broken ribs… It’s miraculous that I can stand at all. This lightweight tool is one I can easily and comfortably maneuver. Since I lost 6” in height (and stand barely 5’ now) I needed an easy to use, easy to pick up trimmer if I hoped to do any yardwork at all now. This trimmer fits the bill for me perfectly! 🙂

The Sun Joe works great. However I bought an extra pack of string replacement from the store. It did not fit. You have to buy the refill string on line. Which isn’t a big problem. Winding new string on the spool is easy enough.

This trimmer is extremely light. It can get into tight places and is well suited for light to mid growth. I had bought a 14 inch trimmer that was too difficult to maneuver. I would scalp or destroy good growth. Not any more with this one. Only wish the handle extended a little higher but still OK.
