The Sunex 3610V Multipurpose Plier Set comes with 5 pliers. The 8 in. long nose plier is designed with a narrow profile head. 8 in. linesman pliers features an induction hardened wire cutter, a broad nose, and cross-hatched teeth. The 8 in. slip joint pliers is designed with an offset for better leverage. The 8 in. diagonal cutter is designed to achieve closer cuts than non-diagonal heads. The 12 in. tongue and groove joint pliers has a straight jaw and 7 adjustable jaw positions for a max opening of 2.125 in. All three pliers are made with non-slip, comfort grip handles. For your convenience, this set comes in a roll pouch for easy transport and storage.

Sunex hit the nail on the head with this plier set! When I first opened the roll up storage case the first thing I noticed was the generous size of the pliers. My favorite are the diagonal cutters. They are a perfect size to use every day comfortably, but still give you enough leverage to cut heavier wire. The slip joint pliers are very unique with a offset, thin end that allow you to reach into tight spots easily. The groove joint pliers are bigger than you would usually get in a kit which is a huge plus. The needle nose combine the perfect size and versatility for any need. These are by far the best pliers I’ve used.

Great set to add to my tool box. The cutters especially cut clean on heavy wire. The slightly curved ones I thought were strange at first. Once you used them in a confined space you would love them also.

When I received these pliers for review, I must say that taking them out of the box, I was initially underwhelmed. To be frank, th fit and finish of these pliers is really not all that great. There were numerous scratches and the machining was certainly not the greatest that I have seen. Additionally, the handles (though comfortable) frankly feel very cheap and overall I do not find the fit, finish, and manufacturing of these pliers to be on par with their price. However, the do open and close rather smoothly and I like the different shape of the slip joint pliers (they would be handy for small spaces). Overall, if I were looking at buying a new plier set, I think that I would spend a little more for better manufactured pliers.

I have had these for a little while and have been putting them through their paces. Like some of the other Sunex tools I own, this set comes with a great tool roll which has made me re-organize my “go box”. I have been able to eliminate all of the other pliers in that box!One tool of note is the Slip joint pliers (361003V). They have a bent jaw, and a thin profile head that gets in places that no other slip joint I won will. Add to the the bent jaw allows me to keep my knuckles out of harms way and allows for great prying leverage.All of the tools have great handles that fit my big hands and have a great ‘feel’.The serrations are sharp on all the pliers and have great grab and pulling ability.

Pliers in the set seem larger than a normal pliers but they all work fine. The grips are also fairly large making the pliers look bulky and less refined. I do like the tool roll that is included.

I bought this set to replace some of my old and worn out pliers and side cuts. They come with a nice tool pouch for storage. The pliers are very thin and have about 45 degree tip great for tight places. The tongue and groove pliers are little bigger than what I wanted but I have found several uses for them. The side cut are very nice and work well,no gap in the cutting line. I haven’t got to use the lineman pliers much yet. All the pliers feel very comfortable in your hand. I dont think you could go wrong with this set.

I am a professional mechanic. I ordered this set and couldn’t be happier. The jaws are great on each set. I love the narrow bent nose on the slip joint pliers. It has gotten into some really tight spots and save me time. The joints on all the tools are nice and tight. They are what you expect on a premium brand. I have cut wire with the long nose, linesman and and Diagonal cutter. All gave nice clean cuts. The diagonal is great makes even large gauge wire easy to cut with a clean professional look. I have used them to pull springs, bend metal, hold fittings and remove pipes. I am very happy with their performance. If your looking for a quality set pliers that will last a lifetime, this is the set to get.

I got these a few weeks ago and I’m quite happy that I did. They are great quality at a bargain price. I like the way they feel in my hands. Very comfortable handles that are easy to keep clean. The grove joint pliers grip nicely and don’t slip. I like the slip joint pliers, they are a very unique and useful design. I can get them into places where other won’t. You can also use them to grab on things and pry since they are angled. They even come with a nice tool roll and it has two metal grommets. I really like this whole set, I will definitely be purchasing more Sunex tools.

This is a great set of pliers for pro’s or weekend warriors. The grips are nice and thick but not bulky. Fit and finish are what I expect from Sunex tools. I love the slip jaw since it’s angle and makes taking off hose clamps easy.

I really like the slip joint pliers with the slight angle,but the channel Lock pliers don’t look like they would last long. The way they are held together seems a little weak,my eyes focused on that right away. I may be wrong

My wife queued up several home improvement projects for me to tackle over this past weekend, so I got to use my new set of pliers extensively. The groove joint pliers (channel locks) are quite large and strong and held up to any task I threw at them. One thing I will say about Sunex is that they really pay close attention to the smallest details. The machining on these things is remarkable, and the grips feel great on your hands even after pro-longed use. I’ve never owned a pair of diagonal cutters before – and I wish I would have bought a pair many years ago. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have that angle when you are trying to cut something as close to the edge as possible, especially when it’s in a tight spot. These things cut through anything I could throw at them as if I was cutting through butter with a sharp knife. The needle nose pliers in the set took the most abuse over the weekend and still look like brand new. There’s nothing worse than having your needle nose pliers break right on the tip, and although I don’t suspect this will happen with this set, it’s nice to know that Sunex stands behind their tools with a lifetime warranty.
