The Sunex 3649 3/8 in. Drive Impact Hex Driver Set includes SAE sizes from 3/16 in. to ½ in. and metric sizes from 4mm to 12mm. Each driver has been forged from high grade Cr-Mo steel, constructed as a solid one piece, and marked by both laser etching and roll stamping to ensure permanent socket identification. These sockets have the same great quality as the 1/2″ impact sockets I have from Sunex. The fit of the sockets to fasteners is great. Easily able to help me break loose a timing cover plug on my motorcycle that is notorious for seizing up. The sockets are clearly marked with a laser mark, however they are not stamped with sizes, so if the laser marking were to rub off, it may be difficult to identify the sizes, especially between the metrix and SAE sizes.

The set showed up in a timely manner. It came in a nice and sturdy blow molded case now I personally don’t keep the tools in those cases but for the people that do I’m sure it’ll last them a good chunk of time. As far as the quality of this set I’m impressed with them I work on a wide variety of things from heavy equipment all the way to automotive I’ve had them on my name brand 3/8 impact and I’ve used and abused this set without a single issue. At a much lower cost then your typical took truck brands this set is a must have for any professional or do it yourselfers.

Comes in a molded case, sizes 4,5,6,7,10,12mm and 3/16,7/32,1/4,5/16(8mm),3/8,7/16,1/2. Perfect regular length sized. Beveled edge.Great value, perfect for work and home!

Worked great for removing cylinder head bolts. Works great on my motorcycle for removing the front wheel and rotors as well. Anymore, I should just buy impact rated sockets because I almost always end up using an impact to remove a fastener. I will say, I should have gotten the other set that included the larger sizes but this assortment works great for the most common sizes. Also, I am on the fence about the plastic case, I am not sure which would be better, a socket rail or the plastic case. The plastic case is working fine for now, I just don’t know how much abuse it can take. Time will tell.

I received this as a promotional item and I’ve got to say they’re very solid hex sockets. The only critiques I have are very small. My 4mm doesn’t sit snap in the case as well as the others, and for the price point I would’ve liked to have seen the sizes etched into the sockets instead of just painted on. That one’s really slight because the case has the sizes imprinted on it. Overall they’re great sockets. I haven’t had the chance to put them through any real major tests yet, but I see no major issues. Great set of hex sockets!

This is a great set to have and has almost every size you need for most jobs. The fit is PERFECT and snug without any play unlike the other sets I own. The best part about this hex set is that they are a one piece design, not a pressed in design like most others. This prevents them from loosening up or wobbling after a substantial amount of use. I took one star off because this is the only brand in which a 3/8 hex set won’t fit in one of the most popular brands of tool organizing trays which is a disappointment to say the least. Other than that, these are quality tools and will last a lifetime.

This set is great for taking to on site repairs or maintenance. It has just about every size you need in SAE and metric so I never have to worry when on the road. I have used this only a few times but haven’t had any issue with the quality, they don’t show any signs of wear and that is very important when it comes to Hex bits. Keep up the great work Sunex!!!
