The Sunex 936HLM 6-piece 3/8 in. Drive Metric Chrome Long hex Bit Socket Rail Set includes sizes from H4 to H10. Each bit is finished with zinc phosphate to protect against corrosion with high visibility markings for fast identification. The chamfered drive end allows the ratchet to be quickly guided into the socket and better protects both the socket and ratchet over time. All of this ensures our sockets professional-level performance, conveniently stored on an aluminum anodized rail for easy transportation.

I have had these sockets for a couple of weeks now, and really didn’t want to write a review until I had used them a fair bit. The overall quality is excellent, the finish is bright, and smooth making them easy to clean after use. All of the sizes I have used so far have been a good fit, not being to tight to put on, not too loose to cause rounding on stuck and corroded fasteners. They seem very durable, I used them on an older GM engine, and like to make sure the sockets are on well with a light tap or two from a small brass hammer. This caused no issues with the sockets, even on those studs that were quite corroded, and in aluminum.The socket holder is a nice aluminum extrusion with mounting slots at each end that are in a slot so the screw heads wouldn’t be in the way of you wanted to remove the plastic retainers from the extrusion if it was mounted. The extrusion is plenty long enough to handle the included sockets, plus perhaps a couple more, but the set includes every size from E4 through E8, and even sizes from E10 through E20, so I don’t know why you would need to.Another nice feature is that all of the sockets are dual marked with a deep stamped mark on one side, and a very easy to read black marking on the other side.

These sockets are outstanding! The quality is fantastic. The sockets fit on the reverse torx heads like a well made glove. Strength is amazing (found out by accident when I used my E18 on a bolt that was so tight that someone else broke 2 E18 sockets on it! The Sunex did the job like a champ). Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a great set of reverse torx sockets.

This set has great size coverage-E4 to E20; 11 pieces spanning 3 drive sizes. This one set covers all the “E” torx sizes that I need. This set has a smooth chrome finish with easy to read black size etchings, and sizes are also stamped into each socket. They are much easier to keep clean compared to the black oxide finish ones that these replaced. The aluminum rail that they come on is an added bonus. It keeps them organized without being too hard to remove (when compared to the cheap steel “spring” rails that come with some sets).

The Sunex 912311E Inverted Star set arrived nicely packaged and straight to the point – no extra junk or gimmicks inside. First, let’s talk about the function of the tools. The sockets have an excellent ability to “bite” without much play at all on the fastener. The machining is precise on all of the sizes and is evident when the socket remains firmly attached to the fastener without wobbling even if your ratchet is not 100% perpendicular. I had some high torque applications with the E18 and E20 socket and there were no instances of slipping or worry of rounding off the head. Absolutely excellent machining on these. Regarding the socket rail, I usually don’t use these because they don’t slide well and are poorly made. However, this too exceeded my expectations by having an aluminum rail and plastic holders that have the perfect balance between the ability to slide and the ability to remain in place at whatever interval you choose. I’ll definitely be keeping them on the rail.Form wise, I want to say THANK YOU SUNEX for including not only an easy to read printing on the socket but ALSO stamping the size on the rear of the sockets. Even if the hi visibility socket size wears off after years of use, you still have the size stamped on each socket (though I do wish the stamping was of equal size of the printing/etching to cater to either preference). Finally, the chrome is polished perfectly with no flaws that I could find and speaks volume to the amount of quality control that goes into these. No evidence of surface rust was present due to a light coat of oil.EXCELLENT value, quality, and performance that I expect from Sunex. 1/4″ Drive:E4, E5, E6, E7, E83/8″ Drive:E10, E12, E14, E161/2″ Drive:E18, E20

The sockets appear to be good quality for not being USA but I understand the average person won’t pay for USA price point I like the large print on one side and also stamped on the other side I’m sceptical of the plastic rail clips but I like the size and aluminium slide

When i received the product first thing that stood out after getting it out the box was the way they are marked, the black letters make it easy to identify them though they are not edged on the chrome. The set came with its own socket rail which is a plus , I mostly use this sockets when working on european cars. Overall is a great looking set and they are well made u can feel it hugs on to the bolt pretty tight when loosening one.
