The Sunex 9138HS 8-piece 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. Drive SAE Chrome Stubby hex Bit Socket Rail Set includes sizes from H 1/8 to H 5/16. Each bit is finished with zinc phosphate to protect against corrosion with high visibility markings for fast identification. The chamfered drive end allows the ratchet to be quickly guided into the socket and better protects both the socket and ratchet over time. All of this ensures our sockets professional-level performance, conveniently stored on an aluminum anodized rail for easy transportation.

Highly recommend these triple squares. Work great in VW axle bolts. Don’t slip great tolerances. I am very pleased I have these. Also work great on seat bolts. Bottom line if you like tools that work buy these.

The first thing that struck me when I got these sockets was the beautiful fit and finish. There is nothing about them that makes them look or feel like a “budget tool”, and despite this, they are very reasonably priced compared to some alternatives. The chrome is beautiful! The double markings – high visibility as well as stamped – really complete the package for me! I can’t say enough about how much I love that feature. The triple square ends are well made and inspire confidence when applying torque, which I can’t say for every triple square I’ve used. The internal grooves for the ball detent in your ratchet give assurance that they won’t take off on you. These aren’t a tool that I use terribly often, but having them makes me want to work on more European makes, haha. The included aluminum rail, complete with ball detents and rubber feet/ends makes storage and organization easy. I expect this set to perform as I need it, when I need it, for many years to come!

I like the extended length of these sockets! They allow me to easily get to bolts that are recessed. This set definitely fills the void left by my other set of short triple squares.

Just returned from CEP70 DD5 & DD8 medium duty Detroit Diesel class to find this kit necessary for my tool box. These new engines use these fasteners as Mercedes 900 engines did on exhaust manifolds. Longer reach with 1/2 inch drive a must for high torque on these bolts. Have searched for proper tool for this job. No more twisting adapters other brands are using 3/8 drive or have not enough reach. Thank for this product.

Received the triple square sockets and right out the box knew this was going to be a great set. Sockets come on their own rail so no need to try to fit them on other sets. All the main sizes included for most anything you these kind of sockets for. Sunex is and always has been great product.
