The Sunex 912311E 11-piece 1/4 in., 3/8 in. and 1/2 in. Drive Chrome Inverted Star Socket Rail Set includes sizes from E4 to E20. Each socket is fully chrome plated to protect against corrosion and rust with high visibility markings for fast identification. The chamfered drive end allows the ratchet to be quickly guided into the socket and better protects both the socket and ratchet over time. All of this ensures our sockets professional-level performance, conveniently stored on an aluminum anodized rail for easy transportation.

I work a lot with equipment that uses hex socket cap screws, and sometimes an Allen wrench or T-Handle just isn’t what I need. When I was offered to review these I jumped at the chance. I like that the sizes are marked in red (for standard) and the rail is also red, and beefy in comparison to other brands. It doesn’t feel cheap. The sizes are also stamped deeply into the socket in the event the ink is worn from use.The hand feel continues into the sockets themselves. When I was using the tools they didn’t feel like they would break. The fit in the screws were perfect and it didn’t feel like they would strip out the heads.Overall it’s a great set, and the metric would come in handy for me. If I had to think of a complaint, for me, I routinely use all sizes from 3/32 through 3/8, so the smaller sizes would be useful.

I wish I would have had these years ago, beats trying to put a wrench on the short end of an Allen key for leverage! These sockets seem durable and are cleanly machined. Stamped and large etched sizes on each one makes it easy to find the correct size, while the anodized rail keeps them organized and looking good inside the tool box or on the job. I would recommend having both the metric and standard sets.

I wish I would have had a set a couple years ago. They are very tight fitting in the hex bolt and seemed very durable after first use. They are a must have when working on any form of equipment, I would recommend having both the metric and standard sets. I was really impressed with the packaging and the rail that the hex sockets came on, very solid and the sockets snap on tightly to the rail. They have stamped and large laser etched sizes on each socket. Very easy to find the size needed.

The length of the the hex was great been using them on my motorcycle. Everything is solid no bend and breaks. The only thing that was a bummer was the paint started to chip the minute I started to use them.

I recently received my extra long SAE hex bits, and was very impressed with their length. I compared them to others that I own and they are a good bit longer which allows for easier access to recessed bolts. My only complaint is that the writing on them is in red ink which makes for a difficult tome reading the size against the chrome base. Overall they are fantastic and if the ink color is the only problem I find, that should speak volumes from a senior mechanic of over 25+ years.

This product is great! It is a six piece long hex set bit socket set. Makes working in those hard-to-reach places much easier.
