The Sunex 9138HSM 8-piece 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. Drive Metric Chrome Stubby hex Bit Socket Rail Set includes sizes from H3 to H10. Each bit is finished with zinc phosphate to protect against corrosion with high visibility markings for fast identification. The chamfered drive end allows the ratchet to be quickly guided into the socket and better protects both the socket and ratchet over time. All of this ensures our sockets professional-level performance, conveniently stored on an aluminum anodized rail for easy transportation.

I’m glad to have found this set because triple square sockets are often difficult to find in stores but are a necessity when working on VW vehicles. So far, this set has held up well to DIY use. Fitment to fasteners is good and no issues with applying high torque. The sockets are labeled with easy to read sizes and are also etched on the opposite side incase the printed sizes wear away. Even the socket rail and clips that come with this set are high quality. Overall I’m very impressed and expect this set to last a lifetime under DIY use.

I received these just in the nick of time, I had a car on the rack and I needed some triple squares to get the job done. I was impressed with everything. This might not be something that you need to use every day, but when you need it, you’ll be very glad that you have it. These are a must for any tinkerer or pro that works on automobiles, you’re bound to encounter a triple square fastener sooner or later. The sockets do what they’re supposed to do, but more than that, they’re great looking, double marked with engraved and printed sizes, and have excellent finish and polish. What I think I like more than anything is the socket rail, it’s compact, tight-fitting, and the individual pegs slide easily so you don’t have to fight in order to remove or replace one of the sockets.

Nice snug fit in the head of a fastener. Chrome finish is on par with brands costing much more. Aluminum storage rail should last life of the sockets, most brands use plastic. Like other sunex hand tools, great product at a great price.

I received this and looked forward to trying it out. Although I only have a few items that use triple square fasteners, I have wanted to have a set of these sockets in my collection. The bits that I used were well formed and fit well in the fastener. Even the storage rail for the sockets is nicer than other stock holders. They’re a great addition to my toolbox.

I received these a little over a week ago and I am very impressed. I must start with the first thing I noticed as soon as I touched them when removing them from the box. The socket rail that they come on is made some type of nice and thick metal and not a flimsy thin metal or plastic rail that a lot of sockets come on. The clips are plastic but I have never had any issues with those in the past on my other socket rails. The sockets fit in fasteners very well and I have no doubt they will last a very long time just like all my other Sunex tools. I also like the fact that they are all 3/8 drive so I can grab this and a ratchet and not have to make a trip back to my box. Triple squares are becoming a must have to work on anything modern and this will certainly help you fulfill that need. Sunex continues to impress. The attached pics were taken before use.
