Received this clamp a few weeks ago, and got a chance to use it some. The clamping force is strong, but must be used on hard surfaces, as the clamping points are rather small and will leave dents in softer material (ie. Wood). One feature that I really liked was the black coating that Sunex puts on the release handle, which somehow makes it easier to grab and operate. My fingers don’t slip on it as easily as some of the other brands’ clamps.

This is a well-made clamp and holds my projects fine. There aren’t any swivels, though. The tips are smooth and rounded, but there’s definitely no swivel action. Other than that, this locking c-clamp is a fine addition to my toolbox and will see a lot of use.

Thanks SunEx. Used these on a small welding project. Strong clamping, build quality is way better than Harbor Freight or Kobalt. Solid handles, no flexing or getting of center. Threads are solid on adjuster too!

I have always used vise grip locking pliers or a tool truck brand. I can honestly say i like these more than my mac set and vise grip. They lock and unlock effortlessly and seem to be made quit well. I have had sunex tools before and i had to warranty out a impact torx socket and there customer service and warranty are second to none. Good job sunex i look forward to an even broader line of tools from this company.
