These 10″ locking pliers are a necessity to have in your toolbox. Over the years I’ve found countless uses for vise grips and this 10″ Sunex set is sure to get it’s share of use. It’s got a solid feel, not too light like some really cheap ones that will bend and warp. These have a straight jaw design and the adjusting screw is gnarled making it easier to grip or turn with another set of pliers. It feels solid that I wouldn’t be afraid to put a large box end wrench over it for more leverage on a stubborn fastener. I’ll hopefully be using these for many years.

These pliers are at least comparable (if not better) to other recognized brands of this type of tool that I have had experience using. They are a bit beefier in some respects, but this hasn’t proven to be a negative at all – in fact it may be a benefit for certain tasks. The jaws are also skinnier than some others I own, so they will fit in some tighter areas. The angled teeth (as opposed to straight) may prove to be a benefit for twisting tasks/unsticking stuck stuff. All in all a solid pair of locking pliers that just works. And hey, they look cool too!

These locking pliers are great, they are very similar to other name brand pliers and are just as good if not better. They have the brand and part number laser engraved on them so they may wear off at some point but that will be after many years of using and abusing them. I traded this Sunex one for my name brand one for a couple of weeks and and it has performed perfectly, it has done everything that i threw at it. My only complaint of this tool is the coating on one of the pieces, its missing near the pivot points. Overall i would by this any day and use it over others brands.

Got these a little over a week ago, and they have proven to be among the best locking pliers I’ve ever used. The jaws have stayed perfectly aligned (even after some hard use), and the locking mechanism is extremely strong. They are easy to adjust and stay where they are set. Hands down another great product from Sunex. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a quality set of locking pliers!

Just the right size for most tasks. Would be better with a rubber handle

I’ve been using locking pliers for a few weeks now and they are every bit as impressive as the tool truck brands I have used before. And a great value, I’ll definitely buy again.

I received my 10 inch vise grips a week ago and I have used it many times working on 18 wheelers. I have used them to remove a alternator bolt that broke the head on a APU and I have used them to hold threaded inserts that are seized to a bolt and rotate with the bolt when you are loosening it, and I have used them to replace brake chambers, and I have used them as hose shutoff pliers. I honestly recommend these vise grips.

These are very well made. They are just what I needed. I clamped them to the struts on my car hood and they helped me hold it open while I was checking my fluids. I also use it for a all purpose tool around the house. The teeth are nice and strong on the jaws and they release very easily and quickly.
