Just used this Sunex 9914 wrench set on my old Jeep project and I am impressed! The 60 degree angle on one end made tight wrenching a breeze. The polished chrome is beautiful and the thin shaft felt great in my hand. Tolerances on the wrenches was tight and well machined. This is a great set and Happy with their performance!

These wrenches are of excellent design, fit, and finish. Four way angle wrenches are established as a must have for many industries, namely automotive and A&P. Sunex’s offering is a great option for the both professional and amateur user, especially considering the value for money. The set runs from 3/8″ to 1-1/4″ by 1/16″, skipping only the 1-3/16″, a common skip. The size is rarely used in industry, if ever, so no marks against there. The chrome on these wrenches is, unsurprisingly, on par with the other sunex tools I own. It stacks up well against its competitors, as does the laser engraving. The edges of the wrenches are relatively sharp, but I’ve found that this affords a better grip in tight areas, where these wrenches live. They aren’t desinged for breaking fasteners loose, so the square edges are a positive for me. The only negative I’ve come across is the quality control. I measured each end of several wrenches, and found some discrepancies. On average, the difference bewteen the two ends was .006″, with the worst offender being the 7/8″ wrench. The 15 degree head measured .879″, while the 60 degree end measured .893″, a difference of .014″. While a margin of around ten thou isn’t entirely critical in this low torque application, the margin is still there. I haven’t noticed any performance issues, but I would like to see this corrected in later production runs. All in all, these wrenches are a valuable tool in your box, and come highly recommended from me and my coworkers. One recently picked up the metric set, #9914M, and is equally impressed. Nice work, Sunex, keep rolling out the new products.

I got these as an alternative to the over priced tool truck version. So far I have been pretty impressed with them. I thought the difference between 15 & 30 degree angle on the one side was going to bother me but so far it hasn’t. On the whole I like them. The roll they come in is very nice but it could use another securing strap on the upper half. the 9/16ths keeps falling out.

I have been looking for a nice set of angle wrenches that included the larger sizes for a while and decided to try these out. As a forklift mechanic, angle wrenches are a must for hard to reach hydraulic fittings and these have performed very well for me so far. Admittedly at first glance they do appear to be on the lower quality end of the spectrum but they perform just fine. Finish is nice but not without minor imperfections and when compared to a much more expensive angle wrench, they are just as thin and slightly longer. The included wrench roll is nice and thick and can be hung up or rolled up for storage. Overall, for the price you can’t really go wrong, especially with the larger sizes included in this set.

Received 14 piece angled wrench set and packaging tape was falling off the box but nothing seemed to have fallen out in transit. I used wrenches on a motor change at work. The angled end allowed me to get further around the nut but I wish the sides of the wrench had a bit more surface area so that it doesn’t cut into my hand. Velcro strap pulled off the tool roll

I got this set about 4 weeks ago, and I’ve been using it regularly since then. The tools have performed flawlessly, and the range of sizes is good. The tools fit well on fastener heads. While you won’t always need an open end wrench angled like these, when you do they’re invaluable. Finish is nearly comparable to, but not quite like what you’d get from some of the much more expensive, tool-truck brands. The storage roll included with the wrenches is a nice touch. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for angle head wrenches.

After using the set for 1 shift I’ve got a few things to say. The build quality is solid, 4 stars, not super thin but thick enough the wrench dosent dig into your hand. The angle end of the wrenchs was super useful. The wrench, especially the larger sizes are way too short. The sunex wrenches are At least 1 inch shorter than my matco wrenches. I found myself reaching for the longer wrenches time and time again. If the wrenches were longer and allowed you to get more leverage I would give them a much better review! The length of the wrenches is my only issue with the set.

Finally found a use for the anglehead today. Fuel lines on a 2011 peterbilt semi with Cummins engine. I was able to slip the wrench in the hole and get a good bite on fuel line. Normally have to remove some other parts to obtain clearance, not today folks. As I looked over the wrench set I was impressed with the polished design, the clearly labeled storage pouch, and that the set was complete. There was no sizes skipped that would have to be purchased later to complete the set. Awesome job sunex. The only thing that I did not like was the overall thickness of the head of the wrenches. Most applications this does not affect the use of the tool. In my case I am looking for that special sweet set that is very thin so it could be used on fuel, oil, and coolant lines that use flat faced o-ring style connectors. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality, craftsmanship, and durability. Thanks Sunex for another job well done.

I received the wrenches and have not been able to find something that I can’t use them on. I work on heavy duty driveline components, but use them on my car and boat as well. Very happy with the quality
