The very best two foot level on the market. PERIOD! This is a built like a tank while still being a supremely easy tool to use. Wickedly clever design details like top read bubble, machined surface edges and rubber tips so you don’t scrape that brand new custom cabinet you just placed. Vee-grove to level round surfaces like pipes and the kicker, rare earth powerful magnets that grip metal surfaces tight but not so hard to remove.

Wow, so this is one of the nicest levels I have ever seen, the construction is strong and sturdy, First off the base is magnetic which helps a lot , the vials I can actually see without putting on my glasses, that is a real plus for me. It has a v grove on one side for tubing and round application and on the other side it has a Channel grove for square corners (genius) . There are grips in the center for easy handling and the ends have rubber on them in case you drop it. Built like a brick I love this level. I will use it mostly for my wood working and making sure the river tables I am making are level as well as the metal legs I weld together, love the magnetic on the level. This is the type of tool that will last forever and handed down to generation to come. Nice Job

Just received this SWANSON 24″ MAGNETIC ALUMINUM BOX BEAM LEVEL – it is great – love the color, which makes it easy to see and locate (I lose things a lot) – love the magnetic feature, as am able to attach it to any metal surface, instead of laying it down and having to look for it – love the length of this SWANSON MAGNETIC LEVEL also – we have a cement project coming up and this SWANSON MAGNETIC LEVEL will help us with the leveling of the box work as well as the cement project itself – looking forward to many years of use as this level is well made, of quality construction, and sturdy – doubt I will lose it due to its bright color, too – highly recommend

I have come to rely on Swanson levels for my do-it-yourself projects. Originally, I picked up a 6 footer when I was installing my patio sliding doors. Next, I got a 4 footer for installing new construction windows among other projects. Now, I have a 2 footer for those tight areas where the others are too big. No regrets. I also like the magnetic base on this 24″ model, which I think could be pretty handy.

This is indeed as they say a “heavy-duty aluminum frame” level. They took well appreciated care in providing extra shock absorption around the vials. It is designed well providing rubberized grips for easy handling, it just feels natural. And this is the first level I’ve owned that is magnetized, awesome addition. Got this just in time to level an arbor I cemented in this weekend. This combined with my 4 ft. level sped up the job. My overall summary is that if you are reading this review you are shopping for a 2 ft level this will be a great choice. Without hesitation I say it fits all my needs and expectations. WELL done Swanson!!!!
