This knife set is the best i have seen in my life! Its a professional grade knife set for a busy culinary kitchen, it makes my Kitch***id set i own look like a poor cousin coming in last…Im surprised by how thick & sturdy the German steel is that runs through the length of the triple riveted handles. This is the best way by far to adhere the handle/blade because there isn`t a weak area where they meet. The bread knife blade has an usual cutting edge and all of them have been “ice hardened” for extra strength. All the pieces are quite heavy and will take some getting used too, especially the scissors which in my kitchen got a lot of use because they are so light but these will only be used for meat. The meat fork is a beast! No more balancing with two utensils when im trying to move a roast from its baking pan to a platter. I dont think id use the chopper much cos like i said this set is for a busy kitchen that needs the best there is to keep up with the heavy demands of a professional kitchen but i am thrilled to own this superior quality set cos it will last a lifetime.

if you are often busy in the kitchen, or a pro that wants to upgrade their home kitchen the 10-piece knife block set is for you. the block has rubber feet on it to prevent it from moving & making it very stable. The slots for each of the knives goes all the way through the block helping to make sure that the slot is dry & not holding moisture. the Knives come very sharp. the Fork is a very useful tool.. my only criticism would be that the scissors are not very sharp or tight. they will be when i am done with them. all in all a good set full of quality & value

I’ve been using these knives daily for about the past month or so and they are really nice. They have a balanced feel to them making them easy to hold and cut with. The handles are comfortable and not some sort of exotic shape making them awkward to hold. Out of the box they are super sharp and have so far kept their sharp edges. I only have one minor complaint and that relates to the wooden holder that comes with the set. Due to its height and the angle that it holds the knives I can’t have it sitting on my kitchen counter underneath the upper cabinets because it makes taking the knives out difficult, they hit the bottom side of the cabinet. Just a nitpick. If you have standard height counters and upper cabinets you’ll probably have the same problem. Adding more of a downward angle to the holder would solve the issue. Still an awesome set of knives so far though.

Swiss Diamond 10-Piece Knife Block Set includes a pair of Shears, a two tooth Fork and 8 knifes that include 3.5” Paring, 5” Utility, 7” Santoku, 7” Cleaver, 8”’ Chefs, 8”’ Carving and a 8.5” serrated Bread knife. The wood block is excellent quality and smart design. It has a place for each piece and sits on 8 rubber feet along the bottom to give it air flow and stability. Each slot goes all the way through the block for good airflow around the blades. The knives were all super sharp and made out of German steel, easy to hold even while cutting something slippery, and just feel great to hold. The taper grinding does not smash it’s way into the food, it slices it’s way into it, The blade has a full tang that runs through the handle making it as strong as it can be and has a rounded spline so when you choke up on it, the rounded top spline does not hurt your hand. The handle is resin, triple riveted and not to thick, less than 3” round, again easy to hold. I could go over each knife but will just give you one example of why these knives and their design make them desirable to the home cook.The Santoku knife came from Japan in the early 2000’s after Rachael Ray declared them the best. This knife looks like it has a desirable 10 degree grind and the spline is about 2mm wide, which tests show is a superior knife blade and cuts like I described above, more like a razor. I will have these forever. The fork is designed to stick right in a big hunk of meat and hold, much better than a 3 prong fork. This knife set is awesome.

THe 10-Piece Knife Block Set was shipped in a outer box over the retail box, which I am guessing is needed as the glue failed holding the retail box together and as soon as I took it out of the shipping box it fell apart and the contents fell on the floor.the knifes are solid in construction and sharp, they feel and look good.The meat fork is also solid in construction.The scissors are all metal, are solid in construction,are vary sharp and close tightly but feel clunky.The wooden block has small feet on the bottom, but seems to possibly be angled to far forwards, I have found when taking out knifes but also the fork or 7 inch cleaver, they can stick in the slots causing the wooden block to fall forwards.

I am unbelievably impressed with this knife set. The knives and wooden block come in a nice box that almost makes you want to keep it. Knives are sharp as well as scissors. All of the knives have a great handles and grips so that you can hold onto them even when your hands are a little wet. Awesome addition to the kitchen. Fits well with the rest of our new appliances and cookware. Also comes with a large variety of knives.

The knifes are great but there is one big problem.The knife holder is top heavy and falls down in the front and all the knifes fall out. The knife holder isnot balanced.

An excellent set of knives. Well made, nicely balanced and overall superior quality. The block keeps the knives nicely separate and is deep enough that the tips of the blades don’t extend through the bottom potentially causing damage to the counter. I compared them to another “very high end knife” and the features are similar. The one-piece steel extends fully through the handle which is attached with three rivets. These should last for many years of daily use.

Very premium knife block set by Swiss Diamond. Comes with seven knifes, one meat fork, one pair scissors, and the block. The wood block is a light brown butcher block wood. When the block itself is filled with knifes, it becomes very “top heavy”, and it can fall forward with the slightest bump. The knifes seem very sharp so far. The grip on the handles are very nice and ergonomic.
