I bought this mouse for travel use, and it fits the bill well. The size is good, especially if you have small hands. May be a bit too small for large-handed folks. It’s well-designed and comfortable. The retractable cord is good, doesn’t get tangled in storage in the pocket of my laptop bag, but sometimes takes a couple of tries to retract all the way. I’ve tried the mouse on varous surfaces–a dark-colored wood table top, on black fabric, and on a multi-colored patterned carpet, and it tracks well on all these surfaces. It is a good value for the price.

I bought this mouse because i was tired of my battery operated mouse that kept running out of battery so i bought this one which was wired and required no batteries. Well, after just 3 weeks of using it, the light on the bottom stopped working, only the buttons and the roller worked. This was probably made with bad quality materials, hence why it didnt last long. Im never buying Targus again, this speaks volumes on their products
