Comprehensive and complete, the TEKTON 1/4 in. Drive Socket Set (51-Piece) is a master 1/4 in. drive set with every size from 5/32 to 9/16 in. and 5 to 14 mm in both shallow and deep lengths. It also includes a universal joint, screwdriver bit adapter, and 6 in. extension, tools rarely found in other sets. Each socket has a high-torque, 6-point design that grips flat sides of fasteners, not corners, preventing round-off. Needing just 5° of swing to operate, the smooth, finely geared 72-tooth ratchet is not limited by tight spaces. For superior performance, all tools are made from premium chrome vanadium steel and protected by a mirror chrome plated finish. Tough and compact, the space-saving storage case has a built-in parts tray that holds things you are working on or extra tools you want to keep with the set.

Great set because it doesn’t skip any sizes. The set I received had a faulty ratchet the teeth jump when pressure is applied. I was able to tuck my own ratchet in the carry case provided and this is why I did not return it and only gave three stars in this review. I also purchased a 3/8 drive set and every piece was mirror polished and good to go. I will say not skipping sizes was what got my attention and yes TEKTON socket sets are worth checking out.

Haven’t used it yet, but the quality appears to be good. I’m not happy with the sloppy fit of the sockets on the nut driver handle. I believe over time this will lead to excessive wear on the sockets and nut driver handle.
