Description

The high-torque, chrome moly, 180° flex head lets you work at any angle, even in tight spaces. A spring-loaded ball bearing retains sockets, preventing them from sticking on workpiece or being dropped. I needed a breaker bar to remove my water heater anode. This was difficult as I also needed a 4′ length of 1″ dia. metal pipe for added torque. The breaker bar worked fine for me. If the bar had a rubber handle if would give it a 5 star rating.

This Breaker Bar is very impressive. It feels very stout and well built in the hands. I intend to use it for lug nut loosening and to break free corroded or over tightened nuts and bolts in general. The chrome is flawless and polished to perfection on this mighty Breaker Bar. The box it came in is perfect to protect its shipping and delivery was quite fast and efficient. I have a Ridged Brand tool box that this excellent Breaker Bar will likely go into for safe keeping / transport. Have used it a few times the extra handle length makes a difference. Primarily, I bought this as a lug wrench for my Dodge Ram. It has 20 inch wheels. In the past when I had to use the lug wrench that came with the vehicle it didn’t work well. I got breaker bars in both my trucks for the same reason, ( an 18 inch for my Ranger). Don’t throw away your old lug wrench. You will have to pry off the wheel hub cap with something. The price was discounted on this wrench and delivered free to my local HD, thus the 5 star rating. Some of the lug nuts came off hard but I used a torque wrench to put it back right.
