Calibrated to an accuracy of +/- 4%, the TEKTON 1/4 in. Drive Click Torque Wrench lets you work with confidence, eliminating guessing and the common tendency to overtighten fasteners. Correctly tightening fasteners to vehicle or equipment torque specifications ensures parts are properly secured without being damaged. Simple and easy to use, this wrench has a reversible ratcheting head that drives fasteners in both directions and measures torque in the clockwise direction. To measure torque, set the desired value on the handle scale (inch pounds or Newton meters) and begin tightening the fastener. When the preset torque value is reached, a reliable mechanical operation inside the handle produces a click you can hear and feel, alerting you to stop applying force. Built for consistent performance and years of dependable service, the mechanical design does not need batteries and the all-steel construction has no plastic parts to break or wear out. Important: This wrench is shipped pre-calibrated and ready to use. To help maintain calibration, store at its lowest setting of 20 in./lb. (2.2 Nm) when not in use. Be sure to read and understand the operator’s manual, including all safety information, before first use.

I bought this inch-pound torque wrench to set the bands on a MOPAR transmission. I’m very impressed with how ell this tool works and how well it is packaged in a hard-shell case. Very nice tool.

This torque wrench worked perfectly. I was afraid the click would not be loud enough at low settings, but this was not the case.

Works well for changing fluids on my atv. Instructions were very easy to understand.

So far so good with this torque wrench. Just pay attention to the instructions and practice with it first, because the click can be quite subtle to hear and feel.

It’s a great Torque Wrench for those more delicate jobs. Most other wrenches start at 10 LBs +.It was perfect for doing the valves on my Honda Rebel.

This description needs to be corrected. The 1/4 inch is 20 – 200 inch pounds (not ft lbs). Tool worked well. I read many unhappy reviews. You need to read the directions. Set to min value when storing (not full counter clockwise). Cases nice for storage. Good value for price.

Using for working on my mountain bike. Has a really solid feel to it. Smooth feel to adjusting the torque. Nice that it has inch pounds on one side and newton meters on the other. Comes with a carrying case even though not shown in the picture. Have been looking many places for one and this is the best bang for the buck I could find. Great price compared to what is out there. Overall very happy.

Great price and even better quality

Easy to use. The torque range in the low end was sufficient to help me on torquing bolts on a transmission pan to 12-15 ft lb (144-180 in lb). Would recommend for a low end torque wrench at a good value.

I did a lot of research and, over the years, I’ve used a lot of torque wrenches. I wanted a good one for home use but did not want to throw down $100 plus for a big name brand. I am convinced I made the right choice. You cant find a better wrench for this price and Home Depot had the best price.

I never thought that I would have a need for a torque wrench, having bought a new travel trailer where I have to check torque of the lug nuts I researched and read on the different ones. Settled on this one and was not disappointed. Can’t speak on how it compares to the others but it works good for my need.
