Description
Calibrated to an accuracy of +/- 4%, the TEKTON 1/2 in. Drive Click Torque Wrench lets you work with confidence, eliminating guessing and the common tendency to overtighten fasteners. Correctly tightening fasteners to vehicle or equipment torque specifications ensures parts are properly secured without being damaged. Simple and easy to use, this wrench has a reversible ratcheting head that drives fasteners in both directions and measures torque in the clockwise direction. To measure torque, set the desired value on the handle scale (foot pounds or Newton meters) and begin tightening the fastener. When the preset torque value is reached, a reliable mechanical operation inside the handle produces a click you can hear and feel, alerting you to stop applying force. Built for consistent performance and years of dependable service, the mechanical design does not need batteries and the all-steel construction has no plastic parts to break or wear out. Important: This wrench is shipped pre-calibrated and ready to use. To help maintain calibration, store at its lowest setting of 25 ft./lb. (33.9 Nm) when not in use. Use this to torque lug nuts on pickup trucks. Works perfectly. Built strong, handles great, has a nice solid feel to it. Easy adjustment, locks in place with small locking knob on the end. Comes in a nice blow molded red case. I added this to my Tekton 1/4″ and 3/8″ torque wrenches which also are great tools. For the price they are all hard to beat.

Very easy to use. Just set the desired torque setting and apply pressure until there’s a click, then it’s done. Pressure can be applied beyond the click, but that’s tightening beyond the desired setting.

Rotated the tires on my truck, and used the torque wrench to get it right. Aluminum wheels.Wrench worked smoothly, & clicked everytime. Used it to get a few axle nuts right after changing the fluid. It’s a little big for that job, so I’ll be looking at the next size down. A great value unless you’re Using it 20 times a day, then you’re a pro and need snap on tools.

Excellent torque wrench. Replacing my old Craftsman that I’ve probably had 35 years already. I can’t say how accurate this one is but after torquing the various hardware from the cv shaft to lower control arm everything ‘felt’ right. The wrench feels solid and torque marks very visible. Plus a sturdy case. You can’t go wrong. Hard to believe the low price.
