Built for use with impact tools, these TEKTON 3/8 in. Drive Deep Impact Sockets effortlessly break free rusty suspension and exhaust bolts, quickly remove stuck lug nuts, and loosen crank bolts with ease. TEKTON impact sockets efficiently transfer torque from impact wrench to fastener, loosening the most stubborn nuts and bolts. Made from high-strength chrome vanadium steel, our impact sockets are more resistant to drive end round out than standard impact sockets, resulting in a longer useable life. TEKTON impact sockets meet or exceed ANSI performance standards. The high-torque, 6-point socket grips the broad, flat sides of nuts and bolts, not just the corners, so there is no need to worry about stripping fastener head or damaging socket. An extra-deep broach enables you to access the entire length of fasteners. Even in low light, the high-contrast, permanent laser etched size markings are easy-to-read. I like the case and easy to read markings. It would be nice if they were all marked on two sides but how convenient does life really need to be….they work great and look great. I feel they are priced just right and i have a full set of the deep and regular sockets in sae and metric.For reference I am a diy mechanic working on the family cars.

I bought these because I use a 3/8 Milwaukee M18 impact for most jobs because of the ease of handling it (Light and Small) and it only delivers about 215 ft. lbs of torque which will handle most jobs, So I figured they would be sufficient and they are.

These sockets are durable and are holding up nicely; no issues as to quality. The only negative is that the socket sizing needs to be laser etched or stamped on the work end of the socket. Knurling or a groove at the air tool insert end would assist in socket removal when ones hands are slippery with oil.
