Built for use with impact tools, the TEKTON 1/2 in. Drive Deep Impact Sockets effortlessly break free rusty suspension and exhaust bolts, quickly remove stuck lug nuts, and loosen crank bolts with ease. TEKTON impact sockets efficiently transfer torque from impact wrench to fastener, loosening the most stubborn nuts and bolts. Made from high-strength chrome vanadium steel, our impact sockets are more resistant to drive end round out than standard impact sockets, resulting in a longer useable life. TEKTON impact sockets meet or exceed ANSI performance standards. The high-torque, 6-point socket grips the broad, flat sides of nuts and bolts, not just the corners, so there is no need to worry about stripping fastener head or damaging socket. An extra-deep broach enables you to access the entire length of fasteners. Even in low light, the high-contrast, permanent laser etched size markings are easy-to-read. The customized red TEKTON case can be stored in a tool chest or carried to your job site. Molded size markings keeps set organized and identifies any missing sockets.

These are amazing sockets! You just can’t beat them for the price. They come in a nice, durable red plastic carry case that is molded with the size in socket placement inside the case. It is NO skip on sizes. That means it has consecutive sizes in order without skipping. Other stores sells them for cheap, but, they skip sizes. I don’t know why they do that? You may not need a 16mm every day, but, when you do need it… You really need it. Tekton also has this wonderful tool life time replacement. No registering, no hastle. Just get the app, take a pic of the broken tool and send it to them. Done. I also like this warranty because it means I can hand these tools down to my kids and they get the warranty with it. Fit and finish are fine. Just what you’d expect from an impact socket. I really like the extra long gullet. This allows me to tighten/loosen nuts on a longer stud without wobbling all over. As usual, the bad. However, this time its only one thing. The size markings on the sockets are laser cut. This just isn’t going to last. After some years of hard work, they’re just going to fade. Unfortunately, the Tekton name is also laser cut. You need to try to protect that name so you can prove it’s one of theirs if you ever have to warranty it! Price is better than competitive if you count the warranty. Fit on nuts and bolt heads is close and firm. I fully recommend these sockets. Ps Tekton used to be Michigan Industrial Tool company. I still have many MIT tools from decades ago. I do like them still.

These are great with only one complaint. The finish is very rough, like fine grit sandpaper. I ended up returning them as I didn’t want to sand the paint off the wheels on my car using these. Other than that, they are good quality.
