Groove Joint Pliers Set (2-Piece) are just what you would expect from a set of tools in this price range, they are dependable, reliable, and easy to use.The rubberized grip is very comfortable in my hand which more easily allows me to use the wrench for a longer period of time. In addition, the working end opens easily and grabs anything with the serrated teeth tightly.Overall I would definitely recommend the 7 in. and 10 in. These pliers feel well made and strong. The joint do not wiggle about the they lock together well.The teeth on the head are sharp and grip well.having two sizes (10″ and 7″) is a nice luxury.I have added these to my toolbox for when I have to do repairs away from home base..Handles are soft to hold onto and do not slide off.Made in the USA!

The TEKTON 7 in. and 10 in. Groove Joint Pliers Set (Model # 90393) come with a cushioned grip that helps reduce hand fatigue. The grip material is advertised as non-slip but I found it very slick and slippery especially so when wet. This could detract from the products usefulness in plumbing situations. The jaws moved and adjusted easily. The jaw teeth are strong and bit well into a variety of project materials to ensure a strong attachment. I would have preferred some cross hatching on the very front tip of the pliers to grip small items. Overall a great set of groove joint pliers.

Some tools are cannot be duplicated – they cannot be replaced with anything else. You can strip bolts and nuts without the right tool, and often that is a joint pliers. This set is comfortable to use – well padded and well contoured. In addition, not every size fits all, so the two sizes that are included ensure that the right item will be available.

The Tekton 7 in. and 10 in. Groove Joint Pliers Set (2-Piece) is a very nice, excellent quality set of slip wrenches. I knocked a star off the rating for the handle grips. My pet peeve perhaps, but tools like slip wrenches need handle covers that are anything but smooth, like these. When wet or with oily hands, this type of cover becomes slippery.The tool itself is terrific. It opens and slides with one hand, somewhat lighter than my other brand slip wrenches and the teeth are aggressive and larger than other brands.Overall I love this tool and look forward to many, many years of use.
