Purchased this wrench to accurately torque specific parts on my motorcycle. This wrench did the job perfect and was very easy to use. For the people complaining you can’t hear the click, just turn the wrench at a slow and steady pace. You’ll hear the click and feel the handle slip when you’ve reached the desired torque setting. This wrench was a great purchase and a great price. On a side note, Home depot’s “deliver to the store” option is an absolute joke and I’ll never use that service again.

I’ve had this almost a month now. This is a very good torque wrench for low-torque fasteners. It feels rather delicate compared to most 3/8″ wrenches. As others have noted, the “click” can be subtle but I didn’t find it difficult to detect at all. It seemed very much in line for a more precision instrument so I have no concerns recommending it. The soft case will probably get grimy sooner but it’s nicely padded so that’s a plus. I’ve already used it on numerous automotive fasteners and also for bicycle work, where there are some very low torque settings required. Also, please note 4 stars is a very high rating for me. Don’t take it as a slight to the product in any way. I simply have a different scale and don’t give standing ovations to everything that performs as expected.

I needed a small torque wrench for working on outboard motors. Tekton has provided me with excellent quality tools for other projects and the pricing is fantastic. Buy now, once they become a well know name I’m sure their prices will go up.

Works well. The spring loaded locking collar confused me, and is a bit slower than a non-spring loaded lock, but apparently it’s common with torque wrenches. I calibrated mine against a CDI torque screwdriver, and they were close to each other. I’ve used it a lot with my motorcycle, and after my initial confusion with the collar, I’m very glad I have it.

I purchased this Inch Pound wrench to torque all the different bolts for my rifles.Scope rails, rings, chassis/stock to action bolts, AR parts etc. and anything that should not be over torqued. It works well and it seems to work correctly at the low end which is important for rings on expensive scopes.I looked at torque wrenches made specifically for gun parts but there were too many reviewers that didn’t like one thing or another about them.So I decided to spend more on a tried and true standard torque wrench which I can put any HEX SAE/Metric or TORX bit into and have it work correctly. I purchased a simple ¼ inch socket to use ¼ inch drive bits on it.I also have a ¼ inch to 3/8 inch drive adapter to use 5 in. long HEX keys with 3/8 inch drive socket ends (TEKTON) which I purchased here.It has a nice semi hard zippered pouch which I stick in my tool box which I take with me when I go shooting just in case something comes lose.

It is a well made and easy to use tool

Works well. Adjustment is smooth and very legible. As others have said, the indication that the torque level has been reached is a bit discrete, so you do have to tighten slowly to feel the indication.

No, this wrench does not have engraved markings. BUT the upsides: 1) Very good machining; 2) Appropriately noticeable detent when proper torque is reached (remember this is an inch-pound range wrench); 3) Nice storage case (zippered); 4) Inch-pound and Nm markings with reminder of what setting to use for storing the wrench.I bought this wrench after being sorely disappointed by the failure of a top-of-the-line electronic torque wrench in this same class (it failed electronically, never abused, always stored in case, etc). This wrench is made in Taiwan, and seems very well crafted. I used it on a small engine rebuild that required low torques. Although I cannot comment on long term performance, it seems a much better wrench than the one it replaced for much less money. I took a chance on this after seeing so many bad reviews on more expensive models and how they have been cheapened. AND many online retailers do not sell inch-pound range wrenches, no matter how crappy – yes, I recommend this wrench.
