I use to shoot tethered with the standard cable I got from Canon. It works fine except it’s short and because it’s black, you can easily trip over against it. This TetherPro USB cable is exceptionally durable and highly visible. It’s impossible not see its orange color! The best part of it is the length. No more worrying that I will overextend the camera or the laptop. I’m using this with my Canon 6D.

This worked great!

I bought the cable specifically for a photo booth-esque setup at an event. We shot tethered to the computer and printed souvenir photos instantly. The bright orange color and 15′ length were both very handy.

We use this Tether cable for in-studio work. We really like the bright orange cable as it catches the eye and helps avoid us from stepping or tripping over it. The negative, is that it falls out of the camera side jack all the time, even if you have the Jerk Stopper the cable kept coming out of the jack on the camera. We ended up using gaper’s tape to hold the cable in the camera.

I use this product to connect my Nikon D3 to my MacBook Pro to tether with Aperture. It works great, there is a usual delay on download images between the camera and software, but it’s quite normal. Only thing that I needed to teak a little was from the mini usb side I had to cut off a little rubber away so that it could fit into my Nikon D3 Cable Clip.

When you need your computer attached to your camera for review, this is the cable. It is long enough not to get in the way.

Tether capture gives you the most control over all your photography. Why? Because tethering allows you to see your photos moments after you take the picture. In studio or on location, you can instantly manipulate your lighting conditions to your needs. No need to take hundreds of photos for nothing. No more wasting time. This tether cable has given me a faster, consistent workflow.
