This is exactly what I was looking for. Wanted the orange color so people see it while walking around the studio area.

I’d give this a 5 star but the first one I received was bad. It didn’t communicate with my 5D Mk II tethered to LR-5. I called B&H customer service and they quickly determined it was a bad one. Right away they emailed me the warranty papers and sent it back. While waiting for the replacement, I taped two cheap USB cable together to make 10 feet tether. It works, but I still prefer this high quality orange USB from tethered tools.

This cable is for my New Nikon D750, which is different from my other old nikon cameras. The one nikon provided from the box is way too short for tether shooting. Tried using other cable from cheaper brand. The signal keeps dropping. Not good for shoot. frustrating.. Tried the cable. so far no dropping of signal. Love the orange colour. easier to spot. Preventing from tripping over. Well, only if the price can be cheaper will be nice…

Nice solid cable. The orange color stands out on set and is a good safety measure for preventing tripping or having your camera pulled over. Get the JerkStopper Camera Support accessory to avoid putting additional strain on your camera’s USB connection. 15′ of length gives you a nice amount of room to work with. Transfer rate is great for single shots & short bursts. Longer bursts will obviously take longer to transfer.

Tethered shooting is definitely the way to go. I used to string together usb cables but it looked very unprofessional. This cable is great. Very well made and should last a long time. I use a jerk stopped on my camera but not on my MacBook Pro Retina I would rather lose a shot from unplugging than have a $3800 computer fall to the floor!

Heavy duty cable makes connection issues a thing of the past.

The perfect cable for my studio setup. Plenty of length to run from the camera to the computer and with the jerk stoppers attached, you don’t worry about them pulling out accidentally.

I have 2 of these cords—for my 2 Camrangers. They are perfect to connect Camranger to my Canons. Forget the Camranger bag with its clip—use that only for storage—-I stick my Camranger on a shoe-mount bracket and use this 1-foot cord to connect——JUST PERFECT. No dangling anything. NIce cord—price is right.

I use the TetherPro cable for portraits at my home studio. I like the high visibility orange and 15 foot of cable.I purchased a similar product from another manufacturer and had too many dropouts, I purchased the tethered pro and have not had a single issue.

If you’re shooting portraits and aren’t changing locations rapidly this will become a huge time saver. It’s such a nice increase in mobility.

I was asked to shoot portraits for the university where I teach. As an Adobe Lightroom user I knew the software provides for tethered shooting so I purchased the cable manufactured by Tethered Tools. What a time save – portraits are imported directly into Lightroom for any post processing and cataloging. Reviewing the shot on a laptop is much more efficient than the monitor on my Nikon D3. The length of the cablemis perfect and the color is a constant reminder to watch your step.

i use an external wifi card from alfa industries to connect, this is the cable i use and i must say wifi capabilities are great no matter what length the cable is … if you use a cheap cable then shortest will prevent loss of wifi but that means using a 3 inch cable … but not with tetherpro no matter how long it is wifi will BE 100% …
