It’s a simple product. It did everything it was supposed to do. The high-visibility orange was nice for shoots with a lot of crew running about, not so good for shooting some reflective product shots when I could see the orange reflecting in the product. Had to swap it out.

I have been trying to find the correct mini USB plug for my Canon GP-E2 with no success. Thanks to your service person (do not remember his name) I was able to get the correct cord. The shape of the mini plug is different than the GPS but it has the 5 pins and fits on the GP-E2. The 5 pin cord is not easy to find and your person knew just what I needed. Thanks

I wish I had read Tether Tools’ own blog article about this cable for the D750 before I bought the orange one, which does not work with the D750 (something Tether Tools has acknowledged). However, their customer service was fast and top notch in getting me an RMA and a replacement black cable at no cost to me (including shipping).

For studio work, this is a great addition. Reviewing images in real time on a 17 screen versus the camera LCD has made a huge difference in my work. 15′ is plenty for me. The bright orange keeps me aware of its presence.

Unfortunately this cable arrived faulty. It only connects the camera to the computer (2018 iMac Pro) if you hold the cable at a very specific position. My camera (5Dmkiii) shouldn’t have any issues connecting. But now I have to buy another cable because this one arrived with issues.

The product works fine for tethering the camera to laptop or when downloading the photographs from the camera. The orange color makes it easy to spot in a busy shoot, however I would recommend using a black wire when shooting a reflective subject.

Bought to shoot tethered in Lightroom. Works great and is easy to see, but as I said seems a bit over priced to me. I also recommend purchasing the little attachment holder to help keep it attached to your camera and not get ripped out.

This is a great product for connecting both my Canon 5D MK II and 1Dx to my MacBook Air when shooting at client sites. The Tether Tools JerkStopper Camera Support to hold the cable to the camera is critical to keeping it connected when moving around. The orange color provides great visibility for people who are around the shooting area as black cables just seem to disappear from view. Why not 5 stars? I’d like to see the plugs for both the computer USB and the camera mini USB fit a bit more tighter as they both feel that they will come out too easily. The Tether Tools JerkStopper Camera Support & Tether Tools JerkStopper Computer Support should be standard with this cable.
