Dependable incredibly long cable. It’s well made and always does the job. You only have to buy it once – Get the 15′ for sure!

It’s a cable…works fine though Nikon in lightroom with El Capitan does not work currently

How I use this product: – I use this cable to connect my Canon EOS 5D Mark III to shoot tethered with Capture One Pro. I heard that some people have had problems with a frequently appearing error message. Be sure to go to Edit Preferences Capture Enable Tethered Support and only check the brands you actually use. This will allow the program to instantly narrow down to identifying what you’re shooting with for a better connection. I just tested this out on my most recent catalog shoot and it eliminated the hiccups! 😀 What’s great about it: – The cable is lengthy and transmission of images to the computer seems very fast even though it’s USB 2.0. What’s not so great about it: – They haven’t made a USB 3.0 version of this specific thread (5-pin male), but this one works well for me already. Overall: – It’s pretty straight to the point. If you have multiple ports and some are USB 2.0/3.0, use the 2.0 ones. Don’t forget about the Enabled Tethered Support that I mentioned. I hope that helps! =

Definitely the best USB cable you can get for tethering a camera. Extremely high quality.

The black tether cable is fantastic. I originally purchased the orange color but was faulty. I sent it back and I got another orange what was faulty again. I contacted customer service and I asked them to send me a black. Customer service is just amazing with this company. They sent me the black cable next day shipping for free after all my trouble with the 2 orange cable. the black is works like a charm with my nikon d750.

I used this shooting a Nikon D7000 in an all day photo shoot. It worked all day with no problems. The orange color made it visible against the dark flooring.

The cable works great. The reason for only 4 stars is because of the price, which seems a bit high at almost $$per foot.

The ability to capture images straight into Lightroom and already have your settings applied… I’ll take that!

I love this cable! It’s the perfect length, not so short and so long, just about right. I use it for indoor shoots, tethering to the lap top or for a photo booth. Gave it 4 stars only due to it being a bit pricey and not getting like a bag to store it and travel.

We needed a tough, long cord to go from a Canon mkIV to a laptop for comercial shoots and this was the answer. I was a little put off by the bright color, but I am glad about it now. No confusing it with anything else laying about. Highly recommended!

nice. very nice.

Great for shooting tethered. Bright orange color makes it hard for my assistants to trip on.

Main thing I’ve noticed is the faster transfer speed, not blazing fast but good enough for me. While the orange stands out in the studio and the length gives me freedom of movement, I originally bought this for remote shooting since my camera decides when its had enough and locks up when shooting in wifi. Happy so far….

I’ve been shooting tethered in the studio so the client can get more immediate feedback on their poses, etc. This is a perfect solution.

The tether Pro cable has proven to be everything I wanted. I will purchase the female cable adapter in order to increase the length…although I could make it without the addition. The cable is wonderful!

I bought this cable to shoot tether with my Nikon D600 and my laptop. I think the price is too much for just a cable, but works perfect.

Easy to plug in. Seems to stay connected securely without falling out.

I did not realize how bad my old cable was until I started using this one. Fast data transfer and a great length. Glad I didn’t go shorter.

Long enough to shoot tethered and not worry that it won’t reach if I move around or that I’m going to trip over the cable to pull over my tripod+camera or knock my laptop onto the floor. Nicely supple, so winding it up for storage is a breeze.
