I’ve tried to transfer files from my Canon 6D, and tether with a 7D and 5DM3, and no dice. Just hangs there. No issues using a card reader or anything else.

I got this cable to replace the standard one I had rolling around. It wasn’t cutting it when shooting raw into Lightroom. So I got this cable in hopes it would speed up the file transfer rate and it did it’s job. I’m now able to shoot raw into Lightroom with confidence that it’s not going to slow my shoot down.

This cable is very well made and uses quality components. I like the fact the cores are obviously multi-stranded and laid in a way that makes the cable very flexible so there are no annoying kinks and bends when it is in use. The plugs feel secure and solid and the cable works perfectly as far as tethering my camera to my computer. Only four stars because I just don’t see why it has to be so expensive. Some products are very specific to the task for which they are designed, which obviously means they fill a niche and can command a higher price. While the cable is well constructed of quality components none of them are unique and its use is not particularly esoteric.

Bought to shoot tethered in Lightroom. Works great and is easy to see, but as I said seems a bit over priced to me. I also recommend purchasing the little attachment holder to help keep it attached to your camera and not get ripped out.

The length of this cable works well for me, and I like the orange making it visible so as not to trip when shooting.

I have been trying to find the correct mini USB plug for my Canon GP-E2 with no success. Thanks to your service person (do not remember his name) I was able to get the correct cord. The shape of the mini plug is different than the GPS but it has the 5 pins and fits on the GP-E2. The 5 pin cord is not easy to find and your person knew just what I needed. Thanks

Much higher-than-usual cable fromTetherPro. I was very pleased with it. Can I see any difference in the conductivity of the connection? Of course not. Will it hold up a lot better and be more dependable than cheapie cables. I really think so!

The perfect cable for my studio setup. Plenty of length to run from the camera to the computer and with the jerk stoppers attached, you don’t worry about them pulling out accidentally.

I needed a solid shielded usb cable to connect my RetroScan movie film scanner to my computer. This one has proven to be reliable and effective.

The orange color led me to this one over the Canon version, but unfortunately, the cable did not fit snugly into the camera. Everytime I flipped the camera vertically, it would come loose and lose connection. This may have been a one off issue, but I returned this one and got the Canon version instead.

I should have purchased the longer cable. But it works perfectly and glad I have a cable to go with my digital Tech setup here in NYC
