with the Mark IV i’m glad this cable has the right angle option. Looks like it can work with the cable holder that comes with the Mark IV
Claudie Rutherford (verified owner) –
I use this to tether my 5D Mark IV to my Macbook Pro. Works like a charm!
Aurelie Kuhlman (verified owner) –
Best in class Tether cable for USB 3.0 Cameras. I am a pro and I know!
Gabriel Zieme (verified owner) –
The right angle plug is really helpful, but it doesn’t stay connected all that well. I’ve purchased some other tether tools to help with that problem.

Recently started shooting product and models tethered to my iMac and wanted to get a reliable fast cable. Quality is perfect and it seems fast even without a booster cable. I use this with an additional extension. Very pleased so far.

Straight up doesn’t work. Total waste of money.

I had already used this product before, so I didn’t need to do research on it prior to ordering. It arrived quickly and has performed perfectly since I took it out of the box. It’s the perfect length to let me be tethered to my MacBook while my assistant edits the photos on the spot. I am always paranoid about the Micro-B end coming out of the camera – it feels a bit loose – but it never disconnected during my 2 hour photo booth.

GOOD QUALITY!

It angles upward and not downward with the Fuji GFX 50S. Useless.

Bought 2 of these to replace the bulb on the profoto, one blew the second I put it on. the other is holding out alright. You get what you pay for. Better to spend a bit more on a better brand.

Works great but feel the price is high for 15′. that is why it only got 3 stars.

I use this for tethered portraiture. It gives me enough length to set the computer midway between subject and camera allowing the subject to get nice feedback. The cable is fairy stiff and needs to be secured to the tripod. You can use a simple velcro strap for that or more expensive options.

I damaged the USB port of my previous camera. I didn’t want that to happen again so I decided to give this a try. The right angle puts less pressure on the port and also it makes it easier to use it with the tether lock, which is a very sturdy protection that grabs your cable underneath the camera on the plate.

Great quality but not cheap

Did my first studio shoot of a five person local band, yesterday. As convenient as tethering is there are a lot of cables over which someone can stumble. This cord seemed to be the one ring that ruled them all: it gave loud notice to watch your step. It was a bit stiff so while this may make it durable, I did need to twist it to insert it correctly. Not a huge issue but I kept wondering what torque I was putting on that delicate USB port on the d810.

I’m using this cable to shoot tethered to my laptop from a 5Dsr with a battery grip and an L bracket. I wish there were more options for different types of right angle Micro-B usb connections, this one requires tight kink in the cable to make work.

This cable works fine until the plug to the camera simply gives in to the law of gravity. Don’t even bother buying this cable without a jerk stopper, or buy the one with the right-angle feature.

Great quality and product.

high quality connecting wire, but would too tightly in order to ship. hard to get kinks out.
