I connect my 6d and Mark2 to Lightroom with this tethering cord. Would suggest this to anyone that shoots in studio and so client can live view to make sure colors are correct for apparel.

This is worth it. Really fast really reliable. No more camera connection dropping out in Lightroom because I am using old cables. ~TEU

Perfect for Studio Shoots. I was also able to add the micro USB for my Sony to tether.

15 feet length is useful for teathered camera action; takes little time to reproduce the image on my mac Book pro. Bright orange color is handy to locate it on the floor in studio. …. WT 5A might be better option.

We are a busy commercial studio and have 10-20 cameras tethered and connected every day, Canon, Nikon, PhaseOne and Sony. The TetherTools cables have been far and away the most reliable, toughest, longest lasting we’ve dealt with, including those boxed with the cameras by the manufacturers. And we love the high visibility orange. On location and in the studio, they are easy to see, and thereby not trip over.

Tried to use Adobe Lightroom for tethered capture and that did not work at all. Looked at forums and what not and found that Adobe is a laggard when it comes to this function. Tried a trial version of Capture One with the TetherPro and it worked perfectly with no set up, no headaches. The chord and Jerk Stopper work well as they should is it is minimal technology.

I attached this to my Canon 5DIII for a studio photo shoot recently. This allowed me to show the model & fashion designer the images as I was taking them so we could maintain social distancing.

Excellent help at the time of the sessions. I hope I can always count on a B7H for the necessary support at the time of the work. Tether tool is very efficient and important, even more not found, it is not a B7H, it is a great tool working!

It’s a cable and it works. The bright orange color helps keep track of it so it doesn’t get mixed up with other cables, visibility to minimize trip hazard, but works best with two other accessories. To both minimize cable damage at the ends and to keep them from accidentally pulling out of the camera and computer, connecting Tether Tools Jerkstopper at each end is a great idea.

I bought the cable specifically for a photo booth-esque setup at an event. We shot tethered to the computer and printed souvenir photos instantly. The bright orange color and 15′ length were both very handy.

When you need your computer attached to your camera for review, this is the cable. It is long enough not to get in the way.

I have 2 of these cords—for my 2 Camrangers. They are perfect to connect Camranger to my Canons. Forget the Camranger bag with its clip—use that only for storage—-I stick my Camranger on a shoe-mount bracket and use this 1-foot cord to connect——JUST PERFECT. No dangling anything. NIce cord—price is right.

The bright orange is great to have in a dark studio. Or even a lit one, for that matter. It helps to not trip over the cord. Solid connections! Good buy!

We needed a tough, long cord to go from a Canon mkIV to a laptop for comercial shoots and this was the answer. I was a little put off by the bright color, but I am glad about it now. No confusing it with anything else laying about. Highly recommended!
