The orange Tether Tools TetherPro USB 2.0 Type-A to 5-Pin Mini-USB Cable is 15′ long and has gold-plated connectors to provide consistent and reliable conductivity as well as corrosion resistance. The ends of this cable feature a standard USB Type-A male connector and the other side is outfitted with a 5-pin mini-B male plug, which is compatible with most digital cameras.
To deliver data at speeds up to 480 Mb/s, Tether Tools has equipped this cable with USB 2.0 technology. It sports a reinforced Ferrite core that filters out signal noise and reduces transmission errors. In addition, the full-lined shielding feature protects the signal against external interference.

I found this cable in black on @ for $ and it probably would function equally as well, however, the only reason I purchased this cable is because it is orange and makes it more noticeable. The cable works well with my Nikon D90 tethered to my 2-3 year old MacBook Pro with USB ports. The cable seems to be very well constructed and never had an issue with getting images to the notebook.
