What more can I say … it works perfectly from my Nikon D850 to my laptop so I can shoot teetered. The cable is plenty long enough and sturdy enough for use in my studio environment.

It works but I would prefer it Matt black or charcoal grey….it stands out like a sore thumb if you forget while shooting mirrors or reflected objects…. you can paint it black or Photoshop it out but ….why the extra effort?

Quality. Great quality.

Needed to upgrade my USB cable and have bought TetherPro in the past. The 3.0 cable should have a performance boost over the 2.0 which is why I bought it. Not sure if there’s anything unique about the cable itself other than the high visibility orange, so the cost may be a turnoff for some. I tend to stick with certain brands and TetherTools makes a diverse, nice line of products.

The is an excellent tether cable, made of good material and seems of excellent quality as well. I found working with the tether cable to be very flexible and pliable. Functionality of it is working great and is fast transporting the data from the Nikon D800 camera to the my Mac Pro Six Core tower. My tether program is Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. These tools are working great for me as I am not allowed to visually see my product shots and make corrections on the fly. And the color is a safety feature making you constantly aware the cable is laid on the floor in your work area. I would also recommend that you also purchase the Tether Tools JerkStopper Camera Support, as I did. The two work together hand in hand.

I purchased the TetherPro cable for my Nikon 850. The port was very secure but I also purchased the safety cord just in case. Both worked great. A full day of tethered shooting and I only lost connection once. I would recommend this product.

I had to shave down the head a bit to fit Nikon tether lock clip, drops connection once in a while due to semi-loose connection. But good overall – I like the thickness to the cord and the L-shape. I wish Tether tools made longer cables.

I’ve used other cables in the past and this one our performed all. Shot for 10 hours straight without any connection problems or speed issues.

I used my cable during studio portraits and fashion shoots. I tether it to Lightroom CC and the sync speed is incredibly fast. The 15′ cable is long enough for me in the studio because I usually place my laptop close to me when I shoot. I would highly recommend this to anyone shooting in a studio or thinking about tethering do Capture One or Lightroom.

I do love TetherTools products as they are incredibly well made. Be aware though that the Pentax 645Z (apparently) has the USB port facing the opposite direction of many/most cameras. This cable will go UP rather than down when plugged in, so it will either make a u-turn (and put undue stress on the connector) or it will have to go over the camera and down the right side.

Tethered a Nikon D800E to a MacBook Pro with SSHD and it worked as expected with Lightroom 5 and work as expected.

I use it to Tether in the studio. I don’t want to wait to get home to find out I don’t have sharp images.

I bought a few days ago, so, dont work in my Imac 21.5 2017 with macOS Catalina, Im using Canon eos 5ds and Capture One 20. With my macbook pro 15 2013 works!!! So, but this happen, I connect the terminal cable to the USB port of the macbook until the half, once that the macbook connect with the camera I can connect until the end the connector USB of the cable in the macbook. Is the cable that everyone use and so so very expensive, but in my opinion the factory dont have a good quality control, they dont reply the mail that I sent to them!!!

I have gone through more straight away tethering cables, ultimately damaging the internal pins due to rough studio use. I switched to the right angle connector combined with tether tools jerk protector that I screw into the bottom of my camera. No more disconnects during a tethered session. Love it !!

An essential part of my tethered workflow. The only caution I would offer is get several if you are working in part of the world where easy access to this kind of kit is difficult. I have had several of their cables fail -always at the big connector (USB A-Type) end and having a fall back is a must.

The right angle helps keep it in the camera.
