I used my cable during studio portraits and fashion shoots. I tether it to Lightroom CC and the sync speed is incredibly fast. The 15′ cable is long enough for me in the studio because I usually place my laptop close to me when I shoot. I would highly recommend this to anyone shooting in a studio or thinking about tethering do Capture One or Lightroom.

Best in class Tether cable for USB 3.0 Cameras. I am a pro and I know!

I am an amature photographer and wanted to learn something new. I bought the Tether Tools kit to try shooting tethered. Hooked it up and it worked perfectly. So far, it looks like high quality and I am very pleased with it.

strong and easy to see. worth the extra money.

I have been buying tether tools products for years. This is a quality cord. Heavy duty for either studio work or on location. Pairs well with the tether block.

This cable works fine until the plug to the camera simply gives in to the law of gravity. Don’t even bother buying this cable without a jerk stopper, or buy the one with the right-angle feature.

USB 3.0 speed moves images to Macbook in seconds, tether length allows set-up variation to match the venue.

This is the second cable I’ve bought as my two cameras use two different cables. Tether Tools stuff always works great but it does come at a premium cost in my opinion. I will continue to buy Tether Tools as needed because it always works

Ordered USB 3.0 Tether Tool cable for my Nikon cameras (D-850-D-810) during the Covid-19 quarantine. Delivery time was great under the circumstance. Began using it same day to download large files to a 1 T-byte SSD drive on my i7 laptop. Downloads were quick and the Tether Tool cable stayed had a snug and secure feeling when attached to either camera. Tried sending photos directly into Lightroom (9.2) and reasonable send to screen time. Cable worked well in other tether aware applications. Will buy one more to keep at two locations. Again, great product, great service.

By far the best and most reliable USB to Micro-B cable I’ve found. Frustration takes a back seat to quality.

Keeps loosing connection from the camera plug and disconnecting on a 5DiV. at first i thought it was my Laptop with issues but its not, the original Tether cable that came with the camera works just fine. Even tried it from a WD 4TB My Book for Mac to my IMAC to see if it would run iTunes. Doesn’t recognize the drive. Its more cost effective to purchase a second than return for a refund. Lets see where we go from there.!

I’m giving it 5 stars because compared to other USB 3.0 this one ticker and the USB 3.0 Male connection actually stays attached to camera without any other accessories to keep it in place. I also like the angled head and it doesn’t stick out like the regular cables do but just know it doesn’t fit the cable holder on Canon 5Ds cameras.

I have used in the past a Usb 2.o version and it works great. Purchasing new camera that made the change to Usb 3.0 and so the need to update my cable. I use Lightroom to tether my camera while on location and in the studio.

And there’s nothing like having the perfect cable at the moment you need it.

The connection seems a little loose and doesn’t work most of the time. I switched to the Canon cord and it works fine! Very disappointed in this purchase and would like to return it but too much time has passed.

Easy way to hook up my camera to my computer to down load photos. My camera use different data cards so it make it easier to hook up and down load without needing multiple card readers

The teatherpro cable is a high quality cable. Although I’ve only owned it for a week the feel of the cable is that of a very well built cable.

I purchased this product to shoot tethered in the studio. The bright cord makes it easy to keep from tripping over and having an angled connection to the camera makes it easier to stay attached. So far it is perfect for what I need.

it’s 15 feet length is necessary for studio work, and the angled connector is a great idea, less interference while hand holding.
