Great quality but not cheap
Charlene O’Reilly (verified owner) –
Fast, bright colored, and the connections seemed rock solid.

This is a solid cable. No issues and RAW files from my D810 transferred quickly to our 15 MacBook Pro. Be sure to have the latest firmware update on your camera before using. I would recommend the Jerkstopper to take the strain off the cable where it connects to the camera.

Whats not to love

Good product and great service as always from B and H
Keira Bartell (verified owner) –
Very stable. Good connectors on both ends. I use it with a jerk stop, so I’m comfortable regarding the safety of the camera’s USB port.
Terrell Carter (verified owner) –
As usual a great quality cable by tether tools

Can not use, error on copy files

Recommend going to Tether Tools website to confirm the correct part number for your camera.

I use this for tethered portraiture. It gives me enough length to set the computer midway between subject and camera allowing the subject to get nice feedback. The cable is fairy stiff and needs to be secured to the tripod. You can use a simple velcro strap for that or more expensive options.
Madisyn Gibson (verified owner) –
Great support for tethered shooting, come absolutely handy with great visibility and flexibility, loved having it.

Works as it should

This cable works fine until the plug to the camera simply gives in to the law of gravity. Don’t even bother buying this cable without a jerk stopper, or buy the one with the right-angle feature.

If you like tethering your shots then def invest in this cable … It’s build quality is great . I have not gotten a chance to use it yet because Lightroom 6 has a bug that won’t pickup my Nikon d810 … Which I’m very angry about …

This cable made downloading my images from my Nikon D810 simple. Prior to using this cable it was a hassle.
Leone Bergstrom (verified owner) –
By far the best and most reliable USB to Micro-B cable I’ve found. Frustration takes a back seat to quality.
Ahmad Mayer (verified owner) –
I used my cable during studio portraits and fashion shoots. I tether it to Lightroom CC and the sync speed is incredibly fast. The 15′ cable is long enough for me in the studio because I usually place my laptop close to me when I shoot. I would highly recommend this to anyone shooting in a studio or thinking about tethering do Capture One or Lightroom.

USB 3.0 speed moves images to Macbook in seconds, tether length allows set-up variation to match the venue.

I damaged the USB port of my previous camera. I didn’t want that to happen again so I decided to give this a try. The right angle puts less pressure on the port and also it makes it easier to use it with the tether lock, which is a very sturdy protection that grabs your cable underneath the camera on the plate.
