With this orange, 15 ft long Tether Tools TetherPro USB Type-C Male to USB Type-C Male Cable, you can connect a camera, smartphone, or other USB Type-C device to a computer, for the purposes of transferring data. This cable supports USB 3.0 for data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s. This cable also features a right angle connector, which is designed to help alleviate stress on the cable connector.
If you connect a camera to a laptop and your camera is compatible with tethering, you can use this cable to help increase productivity during photo shoots. Rather than proof images on your camera’s small LCD, they are sent directly to a notebook’s larger, hi-res display. Seeing images in this way helps to review them for slight imperfections that you may have otherwise missed.
To help enhance performance, this cable is fully shielded and plated to help minimize signal interference. Please Note: this cable is designed to be used for data transfer only, and not for charging devices.

I was informed that Nikon cameras wouldn’t tether in Lightroom but as soon as I connected my Nikon DSLR to Adobe LightRoom via Tether Tools TetherPro cable, LightRoom immediately recognized my camera with all its settings and I could view pictures taken from the camera and I can trigger the shutter remotely from Lightroom as well. The cable is robust and the length is perfect for my use. I highly recommend a carrying case by Tether Tools.

This is my 4th Tether Tools cable for commercial photography and it maintains its excellent reliability and build. I like the new right angle usb c end coming out of the camera. It falls much more tidy compared to the straight out version.

Image transfer using this cable is flawless and quick. Perhaps to increase durability Tether Tools has made this cable very stiff – enough so that it’s a minor annoyance in use. When I find a cable that’s as good at moving data but a bit more limp and has less memory of the coil shape that cables not in use are usually stored I’ll relegate the Tether Tools cable to backup duty.

This works great to tether to my Sony. the right angle comes in handy for with coming out of my camera or the computer. Sturdy and bright.

I originally bought a Tether Tools USB type A to Micro-b right angle, now the new mirrorless has a USB-c so I had to buy another cord which is thicker and seems more robust than the older one. The right angle puts less pressure on the cable connector joint. Camera horizontal, cable straight down, camera vertical, cable horizontal before it softly bends down, much less stress on the connector which would otherwise sharply bend from its own weight when plugged in vertically. Nice option at least for me. May interfere when you use right angle brackets depending on which design. But Tether Tools is quality all the way.

Disappointingly frequent and non-stop interruptions in connectivity by this 15ft

I recently purchased the TetherPro USB-C to USB-C for my Canon R5 and absolutely love it. The connection is strong, the bright orange keeps it plenty visible and having the room to roam around for portrait shoots has been great! Would definitely recommend!
