The Tether Table Aero Master from Tether Tools is a portable tethering platform engineered by professional photographers and aerospace engineers. Made completely of T6 Aerospace aluminum, this stunning non-reflective black textured platform is sleek in design as well as stable and durable. The Aero Master is the largest platform from Tether Tools with a 22 x 16″ (56 x 40cm) surface area.
Located on the Aero Master is the LAJO-4 ProBracket. This bracket makes it easy to mount to any 1/4″-20 tripod head, 3/8″ tripod mount, 5/8″ stud studio stand or an Arca style mounting attachment. Mounts to any of these stands and supports is quick, seamless and painless. The Aero Master also comes with a custom, high quality storage case to protect the table when not in use as well as a lifetime limited warranty in the rare case that it gets damaged.

Does what its supposed to, but lets be honest…this thing is way overpriced (and apparently all of Tether Tools products are over priced). Its a thin sheet of aluminum that attaches to a light stand….not some space age device. Tether Tools has got to be making a killing off this stuff. Plus, it would be nice is this thing had an articulating head. Its stuck in one position.

I am still at the beginning stage of tethering, but it has changed my portraits entirely. I can relax and see immediately what my results are. No longer am I using my camera’s screen to see the result of my shoot. Now I know right away what I have and what changes I need to make. Can’t give more than two thumbs up, but I would if I could

This works very easily with a standard light stand. The perfect size for my 16 MacBook Pro. It replaces a dedicated collapsable table that is hard to store heavy to carry. This table top comes with a carrying bag making it easy to store and easy for travel. It can be a little top heavy, so be sure to secure the legs with sand bags or something similar. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a table top when remote shooting.

I needed this exact item to be able to have a laptop next to my video gear for live streaming. I have plenty of tripods that I was able to attach this to and it works like a charm. Very stable and very high quality. I know people have criticized this for being too expensive for what it is – I would argue the following two things: 1. This is high quality gear that has a very specific use case – you can’t expect something like that to be cheap. I have bought plenty of cheap stabilization gear through the years – and then I ended up buying a similar amount of expensive stabilization gear. 2. Versus another solution that would not use your existing tripod and ballhead, this probably isn’t all that expensive. And at least for me, there is an advantage of using something that I will usually have with me anyway for other uses – it actually saves space in the car, which matter a lot to me (buying a bigger car will end up being a lot more expensive – ha ha).

It has some flex to it, not a lot, but some. Pretty expensive for what it is.

For the price, I was expecting a much more robust platform. My rig is a Matthews Baby stand, Matthews super clamp, and the Aero table with the hard drive holder accessory on a Tether Tools Rick Solid arm. With an ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 sitting front and left of center, the table bounces quite a bit when typing on the laptop. At first I thought the wobble was in the Super Clamp. Investigating further, I found that the table flexes at the center, because it is too thin. The table is barely usable as-is, so I may try to reinforce it from the the bottom, or just junk it. Disappointed!
