The case is sturdy and has good padding. The hand grip is good quality. However, all that is ruined by the kickstand, it’s cheap and worthless. It has only one position and even there the locking mechanism doesn’t really work.

The thin plastic iPad screen cover is not protective or functional like a typical screen protector that adheres directly to the screen. There is also flimsy plastic that is supposed to protect the back camera, but only badly distorts video and photos. This product is so impractical for most situations that I have never used it, and I would have returned it if that had been practical. The poor quality plastic parts detract from the loose outer silicon protector and mount attachment.

Does the job of protecting the iPad… Just be aware that with the larger tablets like the 12.9″ iPad Pro that I have, the case will sag/ stretch in the back slightly when attached to the mag connect mount due to the side and weight of the device in the case

The stand lock is flimsy and broke in less than 4hrs. The microphone is covered so noone can hear you. Worst of all, the touchID is unavailable because of the cover design. I cover half the price would give me a better experience.

I bought this case because of the nice pivoting mount. The bracket works well but the connection from the hard mount for the bracket and the rubber case don’t work that well together. It’s not bad but seems strange. The thing that is most upsetting is installing and removal of the case. It’s a difficult install because the rubber is very delicate and I ripped it the second time I installed it. It’s probably more of a design issue than the rubber itself. The design flaw seems to be the plastic screen cover which easily dislocates from the frame. it’s mounted with a pretty good adhesive but the torque of installing the front and back causes it to pop off. I bought this to mount on the windshield of my boat. It worked well for that but when not using it on the boat I change it to the Apple Magic Keyboard. I’ve stopped using the mount since it is so difficult to work with.

It was difficult enough to shoe-horn a correct iPad model into this case, but it looked completely impossible with the front cover part of the case. I’m having to use only the back of the case to avoid damaging the iPad that I want to mount to tripods. While the kickstand and hand grip are interesting features, they are designed for small hands. The grip also makes using this case on a flat surface extremely awkward, because the iPad inside will roll around unless the case is propped up on one side, or sitting on a cushion. The case is secure, and an iPad will never fall out, but the product needs a total re-design for us to consider purchasing more.
