The Tt eSPORTS COMMANDER Gaming Gear Combo from Thermaltake is a USB keyboard and mouse combo that has been designed for gaming. The keyboard has been built with metal-looking edges, blue LED backlighting, and plunger switches with mechanical keycaps that help provide the tactile feel and responsiveness of a mechanical keyboard. The keycaps may also be replaced with separately sold Metalcaps which provide more durable feel and performance. The function keys of the COMMANDER offer users control of functions such as the repeat rate and reassigning key values, while multimedia, shortcut, lighting, and function keys may be customized on-the-fly without the need for software. The keyboard also features anti-ghosting keys, 64kB of onboard memory, and a polling rate of 1000 Hz.
The mouse included in this combo uses an optical sensor, has six buttons, and dpi sensitivities of 800, 1200, 1600, and 2400, allowing users to customize their in-game speeds. Its ergonomic shape helps provide comfort while in use and its LED illumination is built into the side panels and battle dragon logo. The Tt eSPORTS COMMANDER Gaming Gear Combo is protected by a limited 2-year warranty.

It is a nice keyboard, but the backlighting sometimes makes the keys hard to read since the light does not go through them. The mouse is difficult to use without accidentally hitting the left side button, so I do not use this mouse anymore.

I had been dissatisfied with wireless keyboard performance, so several years back I decided to go back to wired. Unfortunately, all the available wired systems have transferred to USB connections… Grrrr.. tying up most of whats available on the back of your average desktop of laptop system. Fortunately, I build my own, and so I have more USB outlets that I needed. I bought this keyboard system the first time in summer of 2016, and it served me flawlessly until 2 weeks ago. Then the keyboard went belly up, so I looked online to see if this same system was available. Overall I am very happy with this replacement system, and the price was right.

Used for less than 2 total hours of typing. Now keyboard does not work at all. Only mouse is working. I type about 80+wpm and this keyboard simply could not keep up even when new. Keys would not bounce back fast enough and it would constantly fail to recognize random characters. I have contacted support so I’m waiting to hear back from them.

After retiring several defective wireless LogiTech keyboard/mouse setups, I decided to return to the wired method. What I truly love about this Thermaltake setup is: 1. The blue back-lit keyboard, and 2. The forwards and backwards keys on the left side of the mouse. I am a webmaster, and LOVE being able to flip forwards and backwards on pages I am editing WITHOUT having to roll up to the top of the browser to get there. A HUGE TIME SAVER, that reduces the irritation of grfrunt work.
