This is a heavy unit with a metal case, however the throttle lever itself is made of plastic. Thus it is easily twisted unlike a metal lever. For this price, all the moving parts should be made of metal.

This item is made of metal and steel. this is not a chids gaming accessory. I have not felt this level of detail since I have gotten out of the Navy.

I am jumping in with both feet to play DCS. Looking at many options for throttles, I chose the Thrustmaster Warthog. Boy did I make the right choice. Heavy, solid construction with lots of options for switches. You won’t regret it!!!

I decided to retire my first warthog throttle after having to replace the main circuit board and noticing how much wear the internals have suffered over the years of daily use. The original still operates well, but it is getting pretty loose in its advance age. These units are built like a bag of hammers, robust and tough. I do really appreciate the upgrade to the slew control over the old design.

A lot of the functions are labeled with LED-lit green lights so you can see the L/G button, for instance, in a dark room, preventing those embarrassing and expensive belly landings. The hardware is well-made and professional-looking.

I now have the Warthog stick as well. This is so well built and heavy throttle, I love it. I had the Virpil HOTAS but I found it now quite as stable as the Warthog. Happy.

Thrustmaster has gone the extra distance with its Warthog Duel Throttle system, you can feel the quality in both the movement in the throttles and switches on the throttle pedestal, leaving you immersed in your sim experience. Make no bones about it, this is not a toy and is a serious piece of kit that will improve your sim experiences. In the end, its construction is solid and weighty and feels vastly superior to other similar throttle products on the market. After using them for a few sorties in both DCS and MSFS 2020, this simply ups you sim experience! To sum up, the Thrustmaster Warthog Duel Throttle System has exceeded my expectations in every way. I absolutely have no regret for making this purchase. Consider this an investment in your sim experience and you won’t go wrong. Its quality is worth the price and has taken my enjoyment of flight simulation to new heights.
