While maybe not as realistic as some of the high end HOTAS setups, this is a great combo for someone just starting out in flight simulators. Plenty of buttons, sliders and switches and very great accuracy on the stick especially. I especially like the paddles on the throttle that can be used for the rudder if you don’t have peddles, like me. It’s much better and more natural than twisting the stick, which you could also do with this flight stick.

I’m using this for MSFS 2020 right now and I’m pretty happy with it. I did a lot of research before spending this much money on a HOTAS and while it doesn’t necessarily blow me away, I am very happy. The throttle slide isn’t buttery smooth but it’s certainly not bad at all. There are easy ways to improve that if you search online but it isn’t bad enough for me to bother. The joystick is miles ahead of my oldschool Wingman Extreme 2 and I like it very much straight out of the box. I intended to use the paddle on the throttle for rudder control but I actually like the twist of the joystick for that. That doesn’t mean the throttle isn’t useful – it’s covered in other controls and I use the small index finger stick for looking around a lot. If I were to buy again I might look for something with more buttons on the stick as opposed to each side of the stick because it requires me to let go of the stick to use the right 6 buttons. But this is doesn’t mean they’re useless by any means – I just need to program them for commands that aren’t detrimental to letting go such as menu commands. Regardless – they’re WAY better than using the keyboard. I also enjoy the flexibility of each piece having its own cable – although I do wish they were a bit longer. Overall, if you are new to flying games or simulators, I would strongly consider this HOTAS. While you could get by with a joystick alone, having the combination changes and improves the experience a great deal. And B&H is great, as always.

Does everything I want it to do at a good price point. Throttle was a little stiff when I first got it but you can easily take the panel off the bottom and adjust the tension on the rails to fit your liking. Worked easily with plug and play and required no additional time or configuration to get it working. Already recommended to a friend who also picked up this HOTAS from B&H for multicrew in DCS!

I’m new to flight sticks and at first I tried the much cheaper T Flight (also Thrustmaster). For around 70$ it wasn’t bad but this stick feels WAY better, no deadzone and smooth tension away from center (some say it’s too strong but I don’t think so). Throttle feels good and there’s plenty of buttons and hats with a thumbstick on the front. Stick is only so heavy so it will come unplanted if you’re aggressive. This isn’t a Warthog or an X56, but also isn’t priced like one (at this store, anyway, when it’s in stock). Obviously as I stated there is cheaper, but I would instead save up the 170$ plus tax and start here.

Previously owned the Tflight hotas x for PC gaming, and after many months of constant repairs, I decided to cut my losses and try upgrading to this one. Super happy I did! The 16000 has much better accuracy, movement, and dead zone, while the sliding throttle and dual USB’s are also major bonuses. So far I haven’t experienced any degradation in performance and I’ve already put in alot of hours within the short amount of time. On the B&H side of things, always great service snd I always receive my items earlier than estimated

I noticed some reviews of just the joystick having issues with the z-axis. I have had no such issues so far. It’s a really nice setup and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the throttle has rudder paddles on it. Overall this is a really great package for the price and I’m enjoying it.
