The 22” blade makes difference from the traditional 21”. The smartstow feature is a plus for storage space saving which I absolutely love. The rear high wheel and variable speed is a definite time saver. There’s only one minor detail the gap between the handle and the gas release sometimes if not carful will pinch the right hand palm. Other than that. I highly recommend this lawnmower.

The mower is great – when it works. But there is a problem with the carburetor that I found others also have too. Gas leaks out to the air intake and floods the engine making the mower a beast to start. Sometimes the gas leaks out all over the air filter and then down the side of the mower. This happened about six months after I bought the mower, and now I have owned it a year. WORSE, is the warranty service The mower has a two year warranty. I looked up a repair dealer on the TORO website and took the mower in. They said that since I didn’t buy the mower from them, they would not honor the warranty. I wrote to TORO about this and they assured me that dealers listed on their website would honor the warranty, but they don’t. My estimate was $100.Information on the internet about this problem is: “Toro Lawn mower leaking gas. If the lawn mower leaks gas the carburetor bowl gasket on the bottom of the carburetor might be dried out or missing. … If the float needle is damaged, the carburetor will continue to fill with fuel until it overflows.”When I can get it started its a great mower. My previous experience with a TORO mower was great, but this experience will end my association with TORO. I should have bought a Honda.

After adding oil it started on the first pull right out of the box, great for mulching fall leaves. Small issue to correct but the rear wheel did fall off on the first use. Luckily I found the bolt and reattached the wheel. The bolt must have not been properly tightened at the factory during assembly. In my experience this is typical with Toro equipment.

Overall cant be beat for the moneyFront tires a little slipperyMower feels heavyRuns fine. The stowage system is super nice honestly and it doesn’t leak while stored

I bought this mower in 2017 and it works great and since I only have a 1 car garage the smart stow is a must. My only complaint is the paint chips off constantly on the bottom when I’m squirting it out and I’m not using a pressure washer. I wish they would use a heavier duty paint that lasts because now its starting to look terrible after only 3 years and less than 36 uses.

Had a Toro lawnmower in the early 1980’s.This served me well but unfortunately had to move from NJ to CA in the 1990’s.Bought a Toro here in San Diego and this was great too.Had to downsize so I opted to get Smartstow Toro .WOW! the power & the clean job is does is amazing .More importantly,I can store it in a tiny shed.11/10 indeed!!

Very solidly built, and folding push arm is a great space-saver even if you don’t stand the mower up on end to store. Very easy to maneuver, and variable-speed front propelled feature is easy to use.. My only complaint is the cutting height range which is very low so I can only use the mower at the highest height, and it’s still a bit shorter than I prefer to cut the grass for drought tolerance.

This is my first new mower and I love it. It was almost complete right out of the box. The instructions were ok (think Ikea instructions with no text), but I also watched a YouTube video to double check I was doing it right. It started in the first pull (yeah!). I mowed my 1/4 acre of slightly sloped & uneven lawn, and had no issues. The only problem I had was adjusting the height, it was very hard to move the wheel levers.

This is a great mower. It started the firs pull. It comes with the oil but doesn’t say how much it holds so I had to look it up. The bagger works great as well. I would buy it again.

I had a John Deere that lasted 20 years.Greatest unit ever. This Toro simply can’t compare.

Bought in the fall. Wasn’t sure if it would be up to the task, however, so far it’s been great. Have a wooded lot with lots of leaves and pine needles. Unbelievably easy start. I was able to mulch, beyond my expectations. Incredible for the price. No brainer if you are looking for a mower for a normal lawn.

They really cut corners on this machine. It does the job but I’m not impressed.
