I’m looking at the pic you sent me and I see the exhaust pipe is a 90* elbow and my mower is straight. That was the one of the items I first noticed when I stood it up on end to store it in my shed. I covered it with a can just to keep debris from falling into it. I thought that was a poor design, apparently you did too. My last mower was a Toro Pace mower and I did like it better. I stuck with Toro because my last one lasted 16 years and is still working. I gave it to a friend and bought new. Thank you , Al Preble

Just purchased so this will be a self propelled review only. Been using nothing but self propelled mowers for the better part of 30 years. Always find myself leaning on the handle trying to speed things up. No more! This rascal is the fastest ever owned. Plus, if you find its too fast, the instructions show you how to adjust the throttle cable and slow it down. Now all it has to do is last and I’ll be set until my expiration date shows up.

Do people who design mowers ever use them? I like that it starts very easy. The front wheel drive is powerful. The engine hesitates once in awhile. Have not figured that out. The grass catcher bag is very dirty. The dust blows through the bag. The seal around the bag let’s a lot of grass blow by it getting all over the mower and over me. There are several design flaws that need to be fixed. It’s a decent mower for the price.

I have owned a Toro mowers for the last 20 years so instructions were not all that important except this was a new model and had/didn’t have features previously. If this is the first lawnmower purchase from someone they might have a hard time distinguishing which instructions go with which model. Basically all it told me was how to unpack and fill the machine with oil and gas. Not much instructions for operation. Watch a video on Youtube for this model and you’ll be ahead of this poorly written manual.
