I purchased this for it’s all wheel drive feature. I have a very thick Zoysia lawn and my old mower wasn’t up to the job (I did more pushing than the mower did pulling). My only complaint is the seal around the bag. When bagging clippings blow everywhere out around the bag, this is a known deficiency by Toro as they have a “fix” that dates back many years, The fix is a cheap piece of peel and stick foam that, in my opinion, may last half a season. WHY don’t they just fix the problem??? My old (13 years old) Troy Bilt sealed tight and I didn’t have a massive job cleaning the mower after every mow??!!

Lawnmower is running great and has no issues climbing my hill side. Two issues with the original shipment. When I opened up the box one of the Carriage Bolts used to attach the handle was missing. I went to a my local/closest hardware store to buy a replacement (cheaper than driving back to Home Depot that was 9 miles further). Second issue was that the rear spring loaded grass shoot door was not attached to the mower and there is nothing in the owners manual about how to assemble it…. trickiest is how to clip the spring to the mower frame, but fortunately I have another Toro Recycler mower so I could see how to properly install it… otherwise I would have had to return to the store.

Bought this a month ago; exceeding expectations. AWD works for hilly lawn with lots of rocks & trees. On straightaways really moves (jog pace) at full acceleration. Had Toro previously which was near indestructible but this light years better. Big help over older model is added height adjustment capacity to go over rocks unlike older model.

This is my 2nd all wheel drive Toro and my 3rd personal pace. I also have a new Honda sitting alongside my Toro. I bought the Toro again after using the Honda for a while. My only complaint is that after 5 very hard years the drive died on the last 2. Let me preface this with saying I live in the south on a hilly tree covered lot. The mower works 10 months a year. When it isn’t mowing grass running over sticks, pine cones and hickory nuts, it is mulching leaves, pine cone and other debris. These are tough mowers.

Information on machine not user friendly. Providing only pictures is not good enough. Given the price of the machine, I would expect instruction manual to be a far better standard. Also, I am unable to register my purchase in Australia. Again, given the cost of the machine I expect better customer service. This review probably will not be accepted by your system.
