I was able to use the item immediately after charging with no issues. The product comes ready to use right out of the box. The only issue I had is minor and I hope with additional use, it is easier to raise and lower the height. The clips are tight and difficult to move.

Pros:-Cuts well-Quiet operation w/ auto-variable speed based on workloadCons:-Couldn’t hold a charge while cutting grass for under an hour. -When I took it out of the box it had a crack in the flimsy lid that covers the battery compartment. -No power assist -Handle/general build flimsy

Its hard to adjust the wheels and i had to set them at full height for a normal short lawn. otherwise cuts well.

I just recently purchased this mower, but so far I love it. It has good battery life, easy to use and easy to clean and store. I would recommend it based on about 3 times using it.

Got this mower for my son’s smaller yard. I was not sure about a battery powered mower, but I was impressed it. I was easy to assemble out of the box. Instructions were good and I was mowing quickly. I charged the battery easily, the charging station indicators told me when it was ready, loaded it in mower easily. I adjusted the mower height quickly and began mowing. Good power and it cut the grass just like any other mower but no gas and oil! The 22″ wide swath makes quick work of the yard. Great quality mower

Run time very good with 6 amp battery. Charge time at 2.5 hours is a long wait. I like 60 Volt battery is interchangeable. I use my Toro Trimmer 2.5 amp battery and get to Mow about 1/3 as long as 6 amp battery. 2.5 amp battery charges up in about an hour.Yard looks great. Has clean out to hook your garden hose to. I just turn mower on side and clean it. All metal deck and 6 amp battery make this unit a little heavy. Those with strength issues may want to get Self Propelled unit.

Nice mower, only issue is that it doesn’t fill the grass catcher bag completely and plugs up causing frequent stops to empty

This mower works great and has excellent battery life.

I was very skeptical about buying a battery powered mower, especially considering the higher price point comparing to gas. However, Toro has done a great job – this mower has the same power as their gas line of mowers, without the mess and maintenance of gas powered mowers. I’m truly impressed.

I’ve used it a couple times and had no problems. I like having a clean out feature with a garden hose but, the plastic coupling does not work well. It lacks ridgety.

Battery operated lawn mowers are here… and I am surprised to admit that they’re not half bad. The electric motor (and battery) weigh considerably less than the gasoline engine equivalent, so they’re pretty easy to push around. That’s important, because this particular model does not have self propelled. As light as it is, I’m not sure you’ll need self propelled as much as you did on a heavy gas mower… although it can be annoying when managing a hill. This mower can bag, mulch, and side discharge and the electric motor was MOSTLY able to handle it. I had a few “lock ups” with wet spring grass and the mulcher door closed – but the unit is light enough to tip over and clear without many headaches. It did seem more prone to locking up than my gas mower though… so the electric motor might be a touch weaker. I got just under 30 minutes of cutting time off a single charge – and it recharged in under an hour. If you have more than a postage stamp lot I would recommend a second battery. This Toro unit has a steel deck, which is good and bad. Good because I think it’s more durable and will last longer… but bad because the units with plastic decks are even lighter to push around. I really like the quick fold handles. It’s a silly feature but it makes storing the unit (even for a week) much easier.

Mower was easy to assemble, arrived on time, battery life is just as promised. It is easy to use and battery last for much longer than one mow. Mow height is easy to adjust.Pleased with the purchase.

The mower is a little pricey for what you get. It works great but I don’t like how I have to adjust the height on every wheel compared to other brands easy one lever to adjust all four wheels.

I’m pleased with the mower. The battery has more than enough “juice” for my yard and then some.

Just purchased May 6 2020 & My Wife & I made Wheel height adjustments & setup for vertical storage – Awesome and easy for the both of us!Easy to move Mover in Vertical storage position (no battery installed). Will update review as we are from Canada & grass is not ready to cut(snow tomorrow!)Cons:Note: Where *** are seen means listed “Con” is only a suspsect right nowI had to cut the cable clamp holder “insert locks” and re-attach(cable tied) to inner side of handle so cables do not scrape back 11′ wheel when moving unit in vertical storage position (Part can not be reversed due without cutting off insert lock due to hole in the handle being on outer-side)Side discharge chute should have metal “hook plate” molded into plastic chute that attaches to mower because I could see this plastic chute part breaking in one of the “two rectangular small openings” location used to hold it to the mower if I accidentally bump the chute against house or tree. *** Will wait and see what happens one we start mowing the yard.Wife worried about handle “flexing” when pushing down to lift mower to make a turn, *** will wait and see if handle develops “permanent bend” after mowing yard this summer.Pros:Compact for vertical storage, large rear wheels, “beautiful looking unit”, Easy to adjust handle heights, Very “quiet”, No more oil & gas-yeah! Dealer said Unit came pre-assembled – great job Toro! Steel construction makes deck sturdy, all nuts are self locking – a must in a high vibration environment – good job!We are excited to cut the grass with this Mower – Thanks Toro for making what appears to be the best Battery mower on the market- much appreciated!Again I will update this review after first cutting of the yard.

The personal pace feature is nice. It does cut the grass nicely. However, the battery run time is not sufficient for my quarter acre lot. The battery also takes up to 3 hours to recharge, even when it is still 25% full. I had another electric lawnmower that would mow my entire lawn and had charge to spare. The battery also did not take as long to charge, but it did not cut as nicely.I know Toro takes pride in the steel deck, but what is the real advantage of the added weight? Changing the deck height is also needlessly cumbersome. A separate lever for each wheel and the front & back wheels are reversed. Why?
