If I had to critique, the gas tank is rather small. I have to fill it up 3 times to cut the lawn. Also the rubber guard underneath ripped off already. It has only been used 3 times.

I did expansive research prior to my purchase but was glad to finally pull the trigger on the timemaster. I have two slight negatives that pulls the mower from a 5 to a 4 star review. First as many others mention, the fuel tank is too small for the size of the engine on the mower. Secondly, the cut could definitely improve. Fresh out of the box (I’m on mow 6) there are constantly strangler blades of grass that the mower doesn’t cut for some reason, I never had this issue with my previous mower and have seen other complaints of this issue. 5 stars if these two items could be addressed.

The bag on the mower is to big for the paper bags you get at the store to dump leaves or grass in. This makes it a huge pain when picking up leaves. The mower is also heavy and almost not worth when trying to mow a hill. Probably would get a different mower because of those.

Without question, the Toro Timemaster is an outstanding mower! I was previously using a Honda HRX lawn mower and was always displeased with the way it mulched. It would leave numerous random long uncut blades of grass that forced you to either recut the lawn or use your string trimmer to try and even everything up. Since I purchased the Toro TImemaster this problem has ceased to exist and it has significantly decreased the amount of time it takes me to mow my lawn. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this mower to anyone looking for an upgrade to something that will provide a better quality of cut for their lawn.

I purchased this mower about seven years ago. No problem until last year. The engine ripped off the deck. I returned it to the dealer where I purchased. Of course they are busy in the summer so I waited about six weeks for them to repair it. During that time I did not know if it was fixable. Anyway this year the engine died. Of course the place where I purchased is backed up so I went elsewhere to find a replacement. I spoke to the neighbors lawn service guy and he suggested eXmark. I saw a 30 in. eXmark on-line so I ordered it. I discovered after ordering that Toro owns eXmark. A week later and it was delivered. Well – the unit was just under 200 lbs. Hard to turn. Also, not having the personal pace as the Toro unit I soon discovered that the unit was very FAST and hard to control the speed. I returned the unit listening to much grief. No able to find anything comparable I just ordered another 30 inch Toro. Oh – I forgot to mention my previous mower prior to my first 30 in. was a 21 inch Toro wit a B&S engine. That too had the engine die after about seven years. My previous none Toro lasted fifteen years. They don’t make them like they used to. It wasn’t a maintenance problem of neglect. Each year I change the oil, replace spark plug, and air filter.

Incredibly convenient to be able to order a large lawnmower and have it delivered to my home. Packaging was easy to open and the lawnmower was totally intact, I just had to unfold the handle and wheel it out. Added engine oil and gasoline and started right up immediately. I have only mowed my lawn once with this mower but it worked amazingly. Great mower! I am mulching, and it absolutely pulverizes the clippings, no sign of them. Definitely need to have the strength to move this mower around (it is big and heavy) and the endurance to keep up.

I’ve used this mower for a few weeks now and I love it. I have just under a half acre and I’ve almost cut my mowing time in half. It is a GREAT mulcher, by far the best I’ve had. The electric start is very convenient and the personal pace makes this an easy mower to use. It has plenty of power and I’m actually using less gas because of the reduced time to mow.
