The Toro Recycler Gas Push Lawn Mower was easy to assemble by attaching the handle bar, attaching the bag (but not achieving a tight seal at the top) and adding in the oil ( provided) and gas. Some parts are plastic but that makes it lighter and easier to push.The mower cut the lawn well with only some of the cuttings flying out of the bag. Cutting the longer grass in the orchard which has dirt and drier grass & weeds was a different story. The dirt and grass cuttings spewed everywhere covering my husband and the mower itself in dirt & grass. So overall, this Toro mower is better for the lawn than it is for cutting weeds and grass where there is dirt. The gap at the top of the bag poses a bit of a problem. Next, we will try mower without the bag and see if that is better.

I ordered this mower on line and it was easy to unload and assemble. It comes with a 140 cc Briggs and Stratton engine which had plenty of power to cut my dry Bermuda grass. It has a two wheel height adjustment versus a normal four wheel adjustment which makes adjusting the mower height much easier. It has large wheels in the rear (around 10.5″) which makes the mower easy to push. The engine has an improved gas cap over my old Briggs engine. The only real problem was the fact that the grass bag does not fit snugly against the frame. This allows grass to blow out of the gap which gets all over you while cutting. With some work I could probably a way to close that gap, but at present it is causing a problem.

When dumping the mowers attached bag that holds grass clippings, it is a little too large for the paper bags that are used at curbside pickup.

This machine came ready to go. Took it out of the box, put oil and gas in it. Pulled the cord and it started on the first pull. It’s been a few years since I mowed my own grass. Easy to use, it’s not real heavy either.

This mower does it all. I’ve had a hip replacement and one of the things I appreciate the most about this mower is the traction in rough and uneven spots with these 11-inch rear wheels. This new technology is amazing compared to the old ones I grew up with. No oil changes for the life of the engine, are you kidding me?! All you need to do is check and add oil as needed. Plus, you never need to prime or choke the engine! How easy is that?

Arrived in a timely manner. Mower was intact and good shape from shipping. It was pretty much what I suspected, although I was hoping for a stronger motor. No one seems to use h.p. ratings anymore. I know it’s some advertising approach but I like the old days when I didn’t have to guess what I was getting. All in all, I think it’s worth the money.

Good mower and starts everytime. Like the mulch feature. Be sure to use fresh gas and stablizer to insue clean fuel use. I have 2 of the same mowers. On the first one I bought I let the air filter get dirty from dusty yard and had to get the carburater cleaned. Use general maintenance and this mower will work a long time. Also this mower does not require oil changes just level checks.
