I bought this mower to replace my 18 year old mower. I have used it twice so far. The first mow, more time was spent getting used to the personal pace. The second mow was much better and I can control it better. The grass was pretty tall on the second mow and I was surprised that I didn’t need to bag it. The super recycler did its job. The next mow will make me look like an expert. This mower is lighter and easier to handle than the old one. If I knew how much of a difference a new mower made, I would have done it a long time ago. I am very happy with this mower.

it’s actually a pretty decent mower! It’s nimble, and easy to start. The fuel cap isn’t as sucky as most mowers, and mowing can be done with one hand as you follow behind. The mower goes as fast as you want it to so you can creep through thick grass or speed up for the thinner stuff. The mulching ability is really great and I mow a healthy bermuda lawn. If I could change anything about this mower I’d would opt for the larger rear wheels. I like the way those mowers maneuver. On the down side the fuel tank is plastic (like most) and it feels cheap when you remove fuel cap.

My last toro lasted 20yrs and could have gone longer but i thought this new one would be a lot better. Its not noticeably better and it is under powered compared to my old clunker. I did not expect it to bog on 10 day grass ,but it does…and sometimes cannot handle it and stalls. I miss the power of the old mower. This has some features that are nice but i just expected more power from it.

This is my second super recycler. First one lasted 15 years and still is running. The new model is lighter and easier to maneuver. The quality of the cut is exceptional. There is one problem that I see has been reported frequently with the Briggs & Stratton engine. It tends to surge and miss while encountering hilly or rougher terrain. It doesn’t stall but, it sometimes seems like it might. I’m wondering how this will continue for the life of the mower. I’m considering taking in in for warranty service but, I don’t hold hope that it will be acknowledged. We’ll see.
