This is a great mower. It’s a little cumbersome for a tween to push, but it works wonderfully. It would be nice to see the handle bar be able to adjust a little lower. It might do that, but I haven’t had time to look at it yet. However, upon a cursory inspection, it does not appear to have adjustable settings.

I haven’t got the best track record regarding mowers. It’s never my fault usually the cat forgets to top up the oil or the dog doesn’t check the spark plugs often enough. Mowing the lawn is such a chore for me because there is always something else I would rather be doing in the yard. More often than not what should be a fifteen minute job turns into a hour or longer because the mower won’t cooperate. Those days are now gone, thanks to this great mower and I’m very happy. It was beautifully packaged, easy to set up and obviously well constructed, rust proof aluminum and no plastic stickers which bubble and fade. Added plus it’s a good looking machine almost seemed a shame to cut the grass with it. What I love best about this mower is the solid feel it has to it but it’s not heavy or difficult to maneuver. The self propel system is the best too and I had no problems controlling the mower going up and down slopes or over bumps and holes. Cutting performance is excellent, usually I can’t be bothered to change the cutting height because it’s always a song and dance but no problems with this mower. Pleasantly surprised with the electric start up which is very smooth, has a good earthy sound to it when it’s running. Quick stow storage does save a lot of room. Great mower.

This thing is a beast seriously, runs like a champ and you can tell what great quality it is upon opening the box. I love the adjustable handle makes it easy if my husband or I mow the lawn. It is electric which I love because I prefer electric over gas. It also has adjustable bumpers for the front so you can decide how short or tall you want your grass to be. I would highly recommend purchasing this Toro lawn mower!!! Great investment and amazing quality in a mower!!!

I bought this yesterday after a few days doing research, I wasn’t sure if to get a battery or gas type but my yard is like 1/4 acre so I decided to get gas because I didn’t want to be recharching the battery all the time. It’s my first house so it’s also my first lawn mower… it’s amazing how smooth it goes thru almos 12″ tall grass and you can almost just push it with one finger. Before buying this toro I used another little toro that I borrowed from my mother in law, so much different, that one took me like 2 hours just to do the front yard and it turned off like 20 times because of the tall grass and I had to go back and forth so many times. But this one definetely is the best, I even kind of wanted to to my neighbour’s ha. I haven’t used the electric starter but it does turns on at first try with the pull starter. Now I hope it lasts forever because spending $600 kind of got me in trouble with my wife but I got it anyway. Now I need the weed eater!

This mower is not as user friendly as I had hoped. The Personal Pace is not as helpful as Self-propelled. I do like that the grass clipping bag is larger my previous mower’s.

Looked forward to my new mower, my old toro lasted 19 years. I was a little disappointed once I mowed twice though. I don’t care for the personnel pace, I like to have more control over the speed of my mower in the squeeze of my hands. This mower also does not have a throttle control, so you cannot set to choke or increase your motor speed. I did enjoy the collapsible handle for storage purposes. I still have an issue when the mower gets hot or on even ground it tends to pulsates or sound like it will stall…I did purchase this unit because of the electric start and the super recycler option which has been a bonus.

Have purchased a number of personal pace mowers. All worked well. Purchase a new model about 5-6 weeks ago. Really enjoy the electric start. After just one use I had engine trouble (rough running engine). Took it back to the place I purchased it and was told a spring came off. They corrected the problem and the engine ran fine. When I was given the mower back I was told not to run the mower under bushes as a branch bush probably caused the spring to come off. Really? I cannot mow under bushed because a spring will/May come off. This has to be a bad design. If I were aware of this design/flaw I would have never purchased this model. Very disappointed.
